I liked this case a lot. The trick was nice, Yamamura was hilarious, the motive was valuable and the end was actually somewhat sad.

pretty good case yo, vintage DC when the culprit breaks down into tears at the end, vintage.

It's rare for Yamamura to not be the dumbest character in a case, and yet, some how Ran managed to out-stupid him.

Case was predictable, over-used, and a bit silly. The murderer's reasons were thin and all it took was common sense to prove him wrong about the kid's dad being a murderer. Which probably makes the murder the third stupidest character.

When did Kogoro become the supporting character of reason!? Not complaining, but dang, he looked like Sherlock Holmes compared to Ran and Yamamura in this case.

I must admit, "Even his non sequitur tie-ins are the same!" was a hilarious line.

As a case I guess it was nothing special, nothing horrible.
