DCTV Roll Call!

After talking quite a bit about DCTV recently (it's come up quite frequently for soooome reason), I figured I'd make a topic to see how many of you were actually around back in the day.

In case you weren't, DCTV was basically the place we would have 8-10 hours of Conan episodes streaming on loop per day, so people could drop in, watch, chat, and all that. Of course, when a new episode was finished being subbed, we would premiere it there for everyone to watch together.

While stalling for time leading up to premieres, I would often play music videos and other randomness, and we all had a pretty great time with it methinks. Beyond Conan, we got in a few Lupin specials, an episode of David Suchet's Poirot, a few Jeremy Brett Holmes episodes, and other mystery-related shenanigans.

Soon, DCTV will return... in some form!

Well there were like 6 people I can "remember" but I can't think of the name (with the exception of Blush_on and Onoesmilk). I don't think they did anything either minus a few posts from onm.

MrWiz88, as he is better known, actually became a prominent member of the IRC community. I recruited him into Kienai after a while (think he did some distro before that). Quite a nice bloke, in fact (and one that is still around)!

I was there. I think I used Sling as a nick name (as a reference to the weapons of DC  :P), but I'm not even sure. If I'm not mistaking, Jd- had a nick name, or wrote, in red.

Yes. I remember people dissing the characters who made a one time appearance or died like that despicable woman from 512, it was hilarious. I think THE BIRD thing also began on DCTV's chatbox.  ;D Also, it gave some kind of interest to the AOs as people could try and guess who was the culprit, how he did it and why together.
