I'd say there is a big possibility that both of the pairs drop.

Mikoto and Izaya are the strongest characters that are known to be,
and Bakuran isn't so strong...
I'm 99% sure that Kazuha will drop.
BTW, Mikoto is actually stronger than Izaya. hmmm...

Plus, there's only like 30:70 chance that Ai and Shinichi pair would go up.
The revenge and restriant votes are scarier than you might expect.
For the previous round, Shinichi only got about 1100 votes.
Kazehaya and Haruhi are not too strong, but thinking of all the revenge votes and restraints,
they would be more than twice stronger.

The only way, I guess, is to publicize to other people to vote for Shinichi and Ai pair.
That's like the only hope for DC camp right now.

Well since the other group hasn't done too well and because Ai's did do okay in comparison to them to do have a chance.

Absolutely no if you think that Ai's votes are all Ai's votes.
About 60% of them would be purely from DC camp, about 15 % would be from Ai's personal fans, and the rest of them would be restraint votes to make Ai go up, and Shinichi get all the restriant so he drops. but Shinichi did go up, thanks to Mikoto.

Shinichi only got around 1000 votes in the previous round. This means that that number of votes is the pure power of DC camp, which many people who used to vote for Shinichi had voted other characters because of the revenge and restraint. If you say that DC camp has purely thier own votes of 1000, 1000 is a limit. It might depend on who the character is, and the popularity of that character, but in this case, because they are both from DC camp, their total number of votes would be usually only the pure DC camp votes. Ai and Shinichi's fans overlap each other, because they are in same anime.

Especially, It's SEMIFINALS.
If Shinichi & Ai pair goes up, there would be two DC characters in finals.
People just don't want that, because this indicates that it is confirmed that DC character will win this tournament.
They will definitely, for sure try to drop Ai and Shinichi.
We do not have a choice, but to publicize SMT like crazy to other people.

Moe Tournament is lot more of a mind-game than you might think.
It's the part that makes it fun, but it is neccessary to understnad them all, which is hard...

I personally thought so, too, since this is not only about who is most moe, but also about all these MINDGAMES and OTHER CRAZY STUFF and etc.
But I guess it's still fun to participate, whether it's just about how moe some characters are, or which character has the least amount of restraint and gets to go up.
