That is, however, in no way in the interest of the producers. Don't forget that the anime, due to being available on TV (and therefore being basically "free"), earns the producers much less money than the high number of sales they get via the Tankoban and the magazines. As less people would go and by the manga if the anime was available at the same time, it would mean a loss of money. If, however, the manga is always ahead of the anime, they earn two times.
