Two things could happen: A. It could end up like Shin-chan and doesn't have an ending or B. when Itazura Na Kiss's creator died, her husband told a team of animator's the ending and they animated the series.

I think I read somewhere that he has written something on how it will end to be published in case of his death, though I might be wrong.

It was said somewhere in the Forum. At the moment, I would like to see something, anything, that starts pointing that DC will end... someday.

I, too, have the fear that Aoyama will die before DC is finished. The series has been going for so long now and if it just abruptly ended at 600 with no ending--man, that would be a nightmare.

When did they get the new Kogoro voice actor? I'm still around episode 500 (I really like knowing that whenever I like, I can go on a Conan watching spree, so that's why I'm not caught up with ya'll) and haven't noticed it yet. It is really bad?

I'm sure that everyone here knew that Conan's voice actor and Aoyama were married at one point (now divorced). Can you imagine if Conan's VA decided to up and leave the series? Guess we're pretty lucky with this one!

Kogoro's VA was replaced in episode 553 IIRC.
