Does anyone know how much longer this series will last?

In the end, Conan is all about the individual cases (even if they're not quite as good as they used to be) but right now, it kindda feels like they're getting in teh way of the plot. That needs to be balanced better.

It's just a matter of pacing and leaking information. During the Vermouth Arc (and even the Kir Arc), the readers got small pieces of information quite regularly which were enough to satisfy them. I also think that following this series on a weekly basis makes the wait seem even longer, and I trust that, during the arcs I just mentioned, most of us either did not know Conan or were just buying the volumes or following the anime (or at least what is available in our respective countries) as some kind of episodic show (which it is, but not only).

Maybe if there was just the occasional story Gosho writes between chapters of whatever he will write afterwards (assuming he isn't going to retire as soon as Conan's done), or something, that would be far better.

YES! I remember back when I was first reading MK that's what I thought the Black Star chapters would be, but no such luck... TT.TT I still liked the chapters though. >.>
