That was my fault. Gosho had one of those book signing things a while back and I went there to tell him how the series would be better if Heiji was made the main guy(who always wears shades) while Conan played his annoying sidekick with a funny hat.

So while waiting in line, I put back the book I was browsing and for some weird reason it made all the book shelves fall domino style...and strangely the last one was located right behind Gosho. So that 2 week vacation he took that time was really because a bookshelf feel on him and he didn't like that..so he now has Interpol guarding him 24/7.

Meh, Heiji ores me...hes suppose to be almost as good as shinichi but he acts so idiotic and clueless when hes around him...and haibara why would conan be her sidekick? sidekick for what? -.-  all she does is sit around agas's house until some bo related thing happens or the detective boys wanna play >.>.

I don't think that Ayumi and Genta have the brains for working with the FBI or any other police force for that matter, but I think Mitsuhiko will be a detective or something.
Whatever! We need a Shiho arc! NOW! I think the last time she changed back was 10 (real) years ago.

Why the FBI? They are not responsible for (japanease) cases and Shinichi loves to solve normal cases. Not the ones that take months or years to solve (like the BO case) he would get there.
And Haibara... well, she might be okay with forensics but she doesn't seem to be the type who likes to talk to other humans. Maybe the would work with each others, but not as Jr. partners. It's more like she will stay back and wait for clues sent to her by Conan (or the Detective Boys) to analyze them.

I don't think that Ayumi and Genta have the brains for working with the FBI or any other police force for that matter, but I think Mitsuhiko will be a detective or something.

Well, about Genta: I agree that he is probably more suitable for some other job. But whenever I think of Genta in the future I think of Inspector Chiba...
If Genta becomes a bit more reliable and realizes his own weaknesses I think he could become like him - a reliable Inspector whose strength is not in combination but doing the other important works necessary to solve a case (finding withnesses, securing the crime scene, protection and observation of suspects/withnesses).
And Ayumi: I think she is quite inteligent - if she grows up I expect her to be quite similar to Satô. Or maybe like a combination of Satô and Yumi. She already has a great memory, it is usually her who remembers important details (or things like voice and face of criminals) during cases.

When did he say he liked normal cases? He has bin pretending to be on really long cases to fool ran so idk why he wouldn't do one foreal. He never said he only liked normal cases but I know he has said he can't resist a case. They would be a kick ass fbi agents! Or they could continue with the Detective Boys AGency..both are ok with me.

I just can't imagine it without letting it turn out into some weird nightmare involving a lot of pink and fluffy things, eel on rice, Leo, a lot of DID scences, friendship speaches with eel on rice on top and Shiho and Shinichi committing suicide, because they are involved in "Yoshida-keiji's and Kojima-keiji's spectacular and fabulous adventurestm" in one or the other way.
But they are still children and you never know.

You are right: He likes all kind of cases ("Can't resist them" as you put it).  :P

I mean when he is with the FBI he has either to travel to America where he could work normaly on cases as a FBI agent... or he would have no support from the police and government in japan. Remember, that is one of Jodis and James problem: They can't really ask for help. And they have to be careful not to let anyone know they work on cases. And they are restriced on how they get information (remember the trouble they had just to confirm if the police found Akais fingerprints in that car?), their equipment (no weapons, they would need the japanease police to arrest the BO) or support by other institutions (I still wonder how they got that hospital to cooperate with them).
On the other hand if he really moves to America it is quite unlikely that Ran would follow which makes other pairings more probable.  ::)


I don't think he likes long cases: He is curently experiencing his own "long case" with the BO... and I think he is not enjoying it at all.

Err... I expect them to be quite mature when they are old enough to start working with the police and even more mature when they finish the police acedemy to become Inspectors.
They might still retain some characteristics from their past - but while Ayumi loves animals so does Ai and I never heard anyone critizing about it or that it might turn out to become a problem.  ::)
And even Takagi ended up to be a DID (or the male version of one) more than once.  :P
