Sometimes I feel it's a shame that Gosho limits the characters the way he does.
This is probably just a little too bizarre for Conan, but what if he got mixed up with a genuine ghost or bit of black magic? This would also be an excuse for more Akako, because the girl doesn't get anywhere NEAR enough screentime IMO. Her sole two anime episodes are based on MK chapters. Hakuba and Aoko got DC cameos, why can't she? She's an older character than Hakuba or even Snake, after all...

And some time I feel like gosho hates Ai just like how he killed off one his main characters in Yaiba in the manga
