I'm sooooooooooo excited for the next file!!!  I could totally see Kazuha confessing.  After all, Heiji and Kazuha's relationship doesn't have to develop the exact same way as Ran and Shinichi's.

Sato and Takagi got together, Shinichi and Ran had the romantic London confession, Shiratori found his girl.... Even Chiba gets some romance (and I hope there will be more about him in the future) but Heiji and Kazuha.... nothing! They had their great great moments. But nothing ever changed between the two of them ;_; So I hope, with all my heart that something will happen now in the current case <3

Something should happen, that Heiji starts to question his "She is my childhoodfriend and nothing else AND my little follower" theory. I want to see him sitting there, and try to sort out his feelings.

I want see Heiji blushing thinking about her and him, and I want that he feels weird, confused, and have the strong urge to find out WHY he feels that way.
And then I hope that we will wittness the moment when it hits him out of the blue and he figueres out <3 This moment... oh Gosho! Please please please!!!
Yeah... my inner desperate fangirl is speaking here... ;_;

And I remember another great Heiji and Kazuha case: The one where Heiji falls from the ship in Vol.23 <3 Although Kazuha isn't there in person, the end of that case was amazing <3

I agree, although Kazuha was not there but the ending was pretty good 

The mermaid case is one of my favourite Heiji and Kazuha cases along with the tricky situation in the attic

Okay, this is a random idea I had last night that will probably never happen but I still wanted to post it:

After the culprit has been revealed, they pull a gun and start shooting randomly. Seeing this, Heiji throws himself on to of Kazuha so she doesn't get hurt but the culprit is stopped before anyone gets hurt. As Heiji starts to get up, Kazuha, remembering her earlier statement to Ran, sees her chance and grabs Heiji by the collar, kissing him.

Yeah, I highly doubt that'll actually happen.

Looking the older cases over, Kazuha was always the one saying, "I'll confess if you confess, Ran-chan!", so now that it's more or less just her, I can totally see her confessing.  I really hope she does.
