I think she would maybe do more to find Heiji, I mean she's quite an agressive type, I can't see her crying in the corner, I think she would do everything to find her guy (and drag him home :9); or maybe that's just how I see her

Yeah, she's a bit more...hands on? than Ran. 
Side note: I love how similar these four are, and yet how different.  I'm really impressed with Gosho for that.  As an aspiring author, that's one of the hardest things for me.

There's a difference. Ran can't just leave and go off to search for Shinichi. She has to feed her father and "Conan". Whereas Kazuha presumably still has a mother at home to do that for her father.

Also, where would Ran start? She has no idea where Shinichi is...

Also, anyone find it awfully weird how often Kazuha and Heiji are allowed to be together and go to different cities together? Without any showing of their parent's concerns... IRL, I'm sure parents wouldn't allow their 16-17 year old children to go to a different city (many times) together...

it's already been made clear by the canon that both Shizuka and Toyama-san have no issue with Heiji and Kazuha getting married and while Heizo hasn't said anything on the subject I don't think he's opposed either.

I wouldn't liek my 16 year old out in another city with someone of the opposite sex, however if I had already come to terms with the fact that they were most likely going to marry at some point, I might be more open to it

And for the record I'm not convicned Kazuha even has a mother. but then again the info on her family is so vague there no evidence one way or the other, i mean her dad doesn't even have a name

The main thing with them going off to another city together is that they are going there to meet up with other people, who are adults. Most of the time the adult is Kogorou, who is a well-known detective and therefore "respectable." Even so, Heiji's mother decided to check him out just in case.

Kazuha has a mother. In addition to the file just shown above, it was Kazuha's mother that asked them to... oh wait, this hasn't been animated yet.

Probably because the show is for children and wouldn't bring this up, but I wouldn't trust my child to go out to a different city with the opposite gender, and not possibly end up bringing home a baby

I thought about that too, but there have been instances where Heiji and Kazuha go to an inn. I doubt their parents trust 100% that they won't be rooming together, and follow them every time...

I'm not saying you should do it, that's your decision. Just saying that Conia probably doesn't open them.

But things that say "don't open" or "don't click" just tempt you even more to open or click something

Good point. And plus we have to keep in mind the standards of parenting and child protection are different in this show than they are in real life

We can't hold up the things that go on in this show and directly compare them to reality. However that aside the case where Shizuka shows up pretty much verifies their ability to travel to and from Tokyo
