Detective Conan Episode 577 (The Truth Lit Up By The Firefli

I knew I was gonna end up watching this a couple hours later. (I hate not sleeping )

This episode of Conan was brought to you by Bandai only. Somewhere, the older people at Namco are crying at how far they've fallen.

This episode desperately needed to be 2 parts. At least half of it was hilariously rushed.

I agree that it felt sort of rushed, but if this was made into two parts I would feel cheated due to how glaringly simple the trick was.

Using a recorder to create an alibi for an earlier murder? After 576 episodes of DC I would have never thought of that!

The recorder was one thing, but the phone trick seemed so much worse to me. It pretty much instantly gave away that guy as the killer.

I forgot that the phone trick even existed, because as soon as the guy's recording was played from the truck it was pretty obvious that he was dead and that the other guy killed him. So I guess I can't fault the case for only having one part to the trick since it actually had two.

It was alright, I never really expect decent mysteries from an AO, but seeing the culprit pull a knife was cool, most just collapse into sadness.

The ending was sweet. The fireflies were pretty~

It was sad, though, that that detective lost his family in a mudsllide, and that Ai looked a lot like Mayu(or that Mayu looked a lot like Ai. Mayu was like, a happier version of Ai, from that old detective's flashback)

I'm EXTREMELY excited for next week's episode. Looks epic.

Was there any? I mean they could have had one. Conan could have been the savior and save ai that would have been one but he didn't so which one are you talking about?

It was a nice AO, looks like they're starting to use the same Camera movements that they used in some movies (Like in the moment he kicked the ball), the avalanch thing looked like too much but, whatever.

The next Ep. is a Manga Based Episode, finally another Canon Episode.

The writers have failed me. The Haibara lookalike card should have been used for something much better than this case, but now the writers can't use it anymore. tbh I expected this concept sooner or later, but the writers weren't smart enough to handle this concept correctly.

Or they got greedy and sloppy... In a similar prospect the failure in my view was they forgot the basic promise Aoyama did not: since Shiho was raised in the organization anyone who thinks of recognizing her shall be diverted and a proper protection be organized, and this AO version of him let it slide as oh it's just a memory....
