Even when Kogoro is really baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad father, and his own daughter is always taking care of him, I think that he had made a wonderfull job since Eri went and now he knows that his daughter is big enough to live her own life, but of course, we all know that he's always saying that be carefull with men and that stuff ^^ examples: when Sonoko invited Ran to play tennis with a very shor skirt XD Even when he looks like the worst father ^^ I guess that is fine like

Kogoro has plenty of examples of being a bad father, but probably the best argument in favor of him being a good one is how Ran turned out.  He's gotta be at least alright.

He's such a brilliant Character and has many attitudes that are more of less special.

I couldn't disagree more.  Kogoro is an alcoholic, and has done a horrible job of raising Ran after Eri left.  No child should have to drag their parent home drunk from a bar.  No child should have to do the cooking, cleaning, shopping and family budgeting for their parent from the time they were 10 years old.  No child should ever have to endure a drunk parent coming on to them in a sexual way.  Ran has experienced all of this.  There is no doubt that Kogoro loves Ran, and yes, in a crisis, he's there for her.  But the rest of the time, the remaining 99% of the time, she's the one who has to parent and take care of him.  Growing up with an alcoholic parent is a horrible experience, something that no child should ever have to go through.

Kogoro has plenty of examples of being a bad father, but probably the best argument in favor of him being a good one is how Ran turned out.  He's gotta be at least alright.

Ran turned out well in spite of all the damage Kogoro has done.  It speaks very well for the strength of Ran, but says nothing about Kogoro's parenting.

He may have suffered, but he hasn't changed.  There were reasons why Eri left, and he hasn't bothered to address them at all.  I'd love to see some character progression in Kogoro, have him clean up his act, stop drinking, stop chasing women, and recommit to Eri.  I'd love to see Eri move back in too.  Unfortunately, I have my doubts any of that is going to happen.

And remember in that one episdoe when Ran thought that Eri was on a date with that one pet doctor guy(and they went to that Pet Cafe, sorry for forgetting the episode's name) And it was the day of I think their first date, and she was wearing the dress she wore then, and Kogoro was wearing the tux he was wearing then? That's a sign they probably both still like eachother a lot.

XD Is obvious that they're still  loving each other, but both of them are proud enough to admit that to the other, and since that Kogoro haven't changed at all, Eri will not decline. And well, Kogoro wasn't like that before (for what I have understood: it appeared on files 571 - 572 sobber and clean, still working on the police), but looks like the TRULY reasons of why Eri dump Kogoro are unknowed (I said TRULY 'cuz I don't think that what happened in movies really count). Still, Ran is a healthy and strong girl and even when Kogoro is so bad father at least she grew up like a good girl ^^

Kogorou is Kogorou and you can't chance him but he also have a caring site on him wich we see every now and then. Even thought it's not a real development seen in the Char you can say that he chanced a bit - he got some skills in beeing a Detective though

He can get the job done if he cares... and only then.  He'll still generally need a NEXT CONAN HINT to get there, too.  The best example of his solo work that I can think of is when he found his wife's wedding ring.
