Character Representation

Postby randompi314159 » June 12th, 2010, 4:08 pm

Out of curiosity, do the characters represent some characteristic or trait, can't think of the right word right now. Like how one could say Shinichi/Conan represents justice. Do any of the other characters have a representation similar to that?

Yeah, it's probably very opinionated, varying each time. Though I still think it's interesting to see.

How about ... Tropes, like the Meitantei?
Well, actually there is already a list of tropes for each character...
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

Maybe Revenge or Justice as well?? .... since he is trying to avenge his father's death, but It would represent Justice in an odd way if you think about it.

I feel like we've had this thread before.
Detective Movies Contest 2013: Information Thread  Current Faceoff

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

Haha, I know that! :D

But in all seriousness, I think a trope for Heiji could be Chaotic Good.

Indeed, that's listed for him, along with the connotation "He isn't above pulling a few pranks. ". So Yeah.
