Regarding the episode -
hurray for Ai cameo, but..I don't like her in lipstick :/

And MY GOD, how soft are these damn criminals! She goes on a tirade saying that her friend ruined her whole life by making her lose her job and everything (which we never find out how she knew) and then she gets all teary eyed from a very lame demotivational speech by Sonoko about "warmth" and an "iron plate"!

COME OON, you just killed a person - what warmth is there?!  She ruined your life so no, you can't "rekindle" that warmth when you were like 7 or 8 years old.

Sonoko could make people teary eyes just from saying random unimportant crap. She's that awesome.

That would be endlessly hilarious, but there's no way Sonoko could keep it from Ran, so... it could never happen.

I'm siding with kk on this one, I think Sonoko finding out Conan's identity would make for much better happenings. I've actually sort of wanted that to happen for a while, just because it would be funny to watch her hold it over his head as she obviously would.

Fun, yes, but they couldn't do much more than an OVA.  Sonoko could never keep the secret.  Maybe if they reallllly drove it home to her why Conan keeps it secret in the first place, but then we'd just get Sonoko stressed out every time we see her over having to lie to Ran.  That's not the Sonoko I want to see.

But If Sonoko finds out Ai's true indentity It shouldn't take her much to recognize Conan as Shinichi, after all, they know each other (Ran, Shinichi and Sonoko) since second grade If I'm correct.
