first of all who are you talking to

second of all, what are you talking about

third of all, why?

As this case has allready been discussed in the Manga section why not discuss it there after the anime of the manga case happens. It by the way is here http://forums.dctp.ws/viewtopic.php?t=1655.0

well, yeah. But if anyone actually secretly reads manga cases just so they could pretend to solve the anime versions, then... yeah.

not to mention, 2-part AOs are usually pretty simple compared to manga-based cases.

Was this directed at me because I said I'd never read the manga case for these episodes? I...haven't. Like, for real.

I might was well make a thread like this for anime cases that have names and say I think YOU did it.

I don't understand this part.

Often the anime episodes are slightly (or not so slightly) different from the manga cases on which they're based. Combining the two could cause confusion and potentially spoil people who don't read the manga.  :P

I don't understand this part.

the point of his post is that there's no reason to discuss the anime versions of cases that were previously in the manga and talk about points you solved etc, because you could have easily read the manga case to know the case, and then post like you're discussing it in here just to seem smart. Thus, if you want to talk about anime cases, talk about AO cases which haven't been shown in any form before, so people know you aren't cheating.

That of course begs the question, why would people cheat anyway.

Also, is it just me or does Chekhov's most recent post have its own scroll bar?

Nah, I think it was directed at Kkslider. I could be wrong through. (Warning links to manga spoiler board) Kkslider criticized Sstimson's questionable theory for being "STUPID. HORRIBLE. AWFUL. ETC." Sstimson was probably feeling a bit vindictive. I'll leave it up to you to figure out if Kkslider's assessment was fair or not as I already have an opinion on the theory and want to avoid biasing neutral peoples.

It does. Maybe my tendency towards walls of text has influenced the core programming of DCTP to tack on large bars to anything I type? :P

Or maybe it was the invisible emoticon...

Not a personal attack.I do read and watch both. And the major points are the same for both. I find it tasteless to discuss a case that was already discussed a year ago. If you use the Anime Ao and want to discuss those, I have not trouble with that. But even while saving they do not ( And I can not prove either way ), the answers are ON THE BOARD IN THE MANGA section. The spoiler are there for all to see and this board might need a Anime spolier section as well as an manga spoiler section. Is there any way to prove they never lurked into the spoiler section?

There is no real confusion as I said earlier the major plot points are the same

Indeed, it was the emoticon. When you highlight it, you can see that there a "blank" space down the emoticon that is also highlighted ;)

Sstimson, you should avoid the random personal attacks though. It's rather immature.

I wonder if I can exploit that with long posts? This could be a good thing.

There's some people, like me, who only watch DC Anime, so having this discussion threads aren't pointless...

sstimson, you can easily solve this problem for yourself by not reading these discussion threads.

Why take the fun of discussing manga-based anime episodes away from folk just because there may be a possibility of some losers trying to make themselves appear smart?  We might as well not discuss any cases, because someone here might actually work with Aoyama and know what's coming up, but post as if they didn't.
