There was that New Year's Day chapter which never got a proper episode.  They were probably content alluding to it with that one OP, though.

I honestly thought as soon as I saw that really short scene from the white witch that they would use small hints to start the 5th "Ran is suspicious" story.

I count 3 previous discrete suspicion stories, unless I count the anime as a divergent continuity.

Given that look Ran gives Conan in that page, you'd have to be Blind to argue Ran wasn't really suspicious between Cornered Great Detective and Desperate Revival like Conan thinks in Desperate Revival. Maybe we need to label them something stronger than "suspicion" stories. I wouldn't quibble with counting four previous "Ran sees through Conan" stories, since Ran probably wasn't sure enough to offer her blood the whole way through (unless Ran became so devoted to playing along, she'd leave someone trapped in an attic so as not to betray her knowledge).

to be fair, I'm pretty sure at least one of those subtle suspicion parts (in other words not just episode 174) was in the anime too and I remember an AO or two having similar scenes.
