what's with OP6?

i was going through the openings to DC and i noticed OP6 has real footage of the singer from a concert, is that in all the episodes of OP6? are there several versions to OP6(i noticed changes in the footage on several episodes)? in which episode each version change?

Yes, the footage is appears every time they use opening six.

so they use different footage in every episode or every couple of episodes? because i saw the one from episode 143 and then saw one on youtube and it had slightly different animation and a whole different real footage.

bottom line- in order to archive all the openings do i need to download every episode that shows OP6?

oh and another thing, do other openings have more than one version?

Yes, I think there are at least 2 versions of Opening 6. I'm too lazy to check all the episodes right now but maybe I'll do so later or maybe someone else can.. ^^; As for the other openings, there are a lot which have special versions.

Did you take a look at the thread I posted above? It has all the openings and their special versions (with the episodes' numbers as well).

Poor B'z. xD;; Both their "Girigiri Chop" and "Shoudou" openings are just clip shows of previous opening themes. (Granted "Shoudou" had that awesome Special version...)

Yeah, I'm not sure why their openings were mainly clips (Shoudou had some non-clips), but the songs were awesome.

Someone explained once that the dance was ridiculously popular at the time. They were having children in school learn it or something like that.

oh i thought it was part of your autograph, man you don't know how much you helped me with that, thank you so much!! a couple of questions though

1)on opening 26 special version, you wrote it was on the first episode but how is that possible? the first episode didn't had an opening(just scene with music in the background) and it aired like 400 episodes before the first time OP26 appeared.

2)when DC moved to HD? according to the guide it was from OP 19, just wanted to confirm that

3)general question to the public: did kudo shinchi's girlfriend(don't know her name) ever suspected that conan is kudo? i doubt she can be fooled for so long as almost 600 episodes(unless she's incredibly stupid or something)

Ran has had quite a few times where she was suspicious.  Shinichi just always finds a way to make her doubt herself.  Plus, the thought that a high school student can become an elementary student is ridiculous to her and most other people, so it's very unlikely she would continue to believe that he's a child.  I think she knows subconsciously, though.
