Agreed. Noone said there is going to be a MK Anime, so it's still a Special, at least untill they say so.

agreed with girl19  why would they put episode 1 at the end if there wasn't gonna be a next episode? not only that, they updated the animation and gave it a life of it's own. not even the full story till' the thrid episode. there could be more comming.

To be a "series", rather than an OVA or Special, you need to have consistent air times between episodes (usually once a week), and have the date for the next episode known and planned.  Since there isn't such information for Kid, it's just a Special/OVA.

Actually the #2 means there's a #1 not viceversa. You can be the first to do something and that doen't mean there's going to be another person but if your the second that means that there is someone who did it first, it's the same with Episodes, etc ....

Correct reasoning, but in this case my reasoning is valid too.
If they wrote Episode 1 (and even gave it a title), it means there will be an Episode 2.

I guess they're leaving their options open. In case the special tanks (boo), they're not committed to any more, but if people clamor for more (yay) they've got the potential for a series of OVAs or whatever. Maybe it will be the same thing as with the Tsubasa and Xxxholic OVAs, where they'll come out sort of sporadically.

I wonder if this will encourage Gosho to pick the series back up again. *tries not to act too hopeful*

I just saw it on YouTube (thanks for the link, scineram) and it was great!  I really hope they make more.

One funny thing I found in the first ep. was when he was having his "webchat", for some reason there was a progress bar going, just like in Jurassic Park!
