In the third frame, what flashback is Ai having? I can't recall that incident at all. I also don't know how accurate that translation is; my Taiwanese manga copy has it translated as..."I've already spoken to her..." "If something's not right, I'll definitely protect you."

btw... i just use my brain to solve your question (takes around 30 minutes for re checking manga and anime  though he he he)

here how i get the answer...

1. follow your link to onemanga and find out which chapter you talk about... (the answers is chapter 423)
2. find Anime Version of that chapter (340-341) also used kaizo 345 as reference...
3. look at conan's cloth and "Quickly preview all manga since ai first show. (Vol 19)
4. find the answer you looking for..

The first two were pretty easy, as they were fairly memorable scenes- I remember laughing when Shinichi said Haibara looked like Clark Kent and the second one comes from one of the most memorable cases. I had completely forgotten about the third though.

Yeah, I know what you mean- Conan goes off to face the BO with a cheerful smile on his face and he's clearly very excited. Then I remembered Haibara didn't come into that case until the very end and gave up on trying to find the answer.
