I love our plot and the only problem I have with it is the fact that i wish it could move a little...LOL.
Detective Conan's fillers have made the show boring, Right now all I can do is wait for the long awaited black organization episodes or any other special episodes such as Kaito kid. Through my eyes the series started falling noticeably ever since episode 505. However watching a long and successful series like this, we must remember that a thing like this is normal. Besides were not the only one aren't we? ;)

so...you watch 570...and you come back here and say that it's getting BETTER?Introuble wrote:scineram wrote:One of the most successful anime series in history was clearly a mistake.
Your talking about DC right? :DIntrouble wrote:Back to the topic - Yes, I hate to admit it but in my opinion Detective Conan has become kinda crappy lately.

Nevermind, I take it back. Detective Conan's getting better (Just marathoned 556-570)dilbertschalter wrote:I don't think the issue is with the plot. I've never been a huge fan of DC's plot (it has tons of holes and paper thin characters), it's with the standard cases.
WTH? What's wrong with your head? I still can't get over this sentence.

Fine, to make things clearer after Marathon 14 episodes Detective Conan remained steady through my eyes. I took back the comment I posted awhile back because after marathoning these 14 episodes I felt that old nostalgic DC feeling just like in the old episodes. Just relax and don't expect anything superb each episode, Instead just watch it for fun and of course relax. Trust me, I did this and I realized that Detective Conan is still the same. Sure it hasn't improved (my bad) but it hasn't decreased either. If Detective Conan decreased in any way it's definitely not obvious IMO.
(I marathoned 556-570 because I came back from vacation)

And is it just me, or has the show gone a little more "kid-friendly" than it has been before?

ranger wrote:I'd definitely say it has gotten worse recently, simply because the sheer AO to Manga episodes ratio is incredibly high.

You must not be a standard anime fan, cause the ones I know have an absurdly high tolerance for awfulness. Like, I have met people online that watch a new series every other day to completion, just so they can say they've seen yet another series. They rarely admit how bad the shows are, but deep down... Yes, they know.

I'm more of a fan of a certain unintentionally hilarious moment in the subbed version.
