Well, I'm in a school of musicians...and half the guys have long hair (not as long as mine, though). I also dress only in black (and note that this habit came to me before I started watching DC).
Maybe I should dye my hair silver, get a dumb sidekick and start to kill people for no reason.

Guys I was just wondering, what if Gin had been a woman? The reason I ask this is because when I was looking at him once, I figured that with his extremely long hair he could have pulled it off.

I think I should be insulted  .....but I'm not  My hair is longer than Gin's and I was never a woman.
though many people mistook me for girl when I was young.
It's just a common thing in anime/manga to give some guys crazy and extremely long hair.

Nah...my hair color is like Haibara's (it's even changing occasionally. Either becoming darker, brigher, redder).

Actually, I've been thinking about it today (as part of my "think of whatever while you're playing the flute besides what you suppose to play. If women can do it, then you can too!" training. And I succeeded finally). And technically I think Gin's hair is likely longer than mine. I only meassured it by the fact that my hair reaches a...lower part of my body than Gin's hair, but I forgot to take into account that Gin is much taller than me (he's like...1.85 maybe?).

There's a certain breed of Gin!crack fanfic writers who give Gin an obsession with Hello Kitty and brushing his hair all the time, so you never know XD

He does have quite prettyful hair, though. And a pink phone in movie 13. And trust me, ladies can be as coldly psychopathic as anybody. This might also be why he always wears a long trenchcoat and a high collar... hiding the fact that he doesn't have an adam's apple or a manly figure XDXD

(On, and to whoever cited SesshoMaru earlier (too lazy to check)... first time I saw him was on the cover of volume 7, and since I hadn't read the back I thought he was InuYasha's sister or something XD)

To those of you who misunderstood, I already know that there are a lot of male anime and manga characters who have long hair. It just appeared to my eye in some long shots in the very early volumes of the manga, that  he looked somewhat like a creepy woman.
