What if Gin...

Guys I was just wondering, what if Gin had been a woman? The reason I ask this is because when I was looking at him once, I figured that with his extremely long hair he could have pulled it off. Anyway, do you think that, in the volumes before Vermouth was introduced and had Gosho invented Gin as a female, do you think he would have been more or less interesting? Sorry about this question everyone, don't think I'm weird or anything.

I think I should be insulted  .....but I'm not  My hair is longer than Gin's and I was never a woman.
though many people mistook me for girl when I was young.
It's just a common thing in anime/manga to give some guys crazy and extremely long hair.

Gin should be a guy. I mean, he really is, but I can't imagine his character as a woman. Female "badguys" are emotional psychos, scaring the cr*p out of everyone, while doing irrational things, Gin is just a cold-blooded psycho whom I wouldn't meet even for a 1 mllion dollars.

Gin personality fits for a guy. As stated above, long hair is common for this ocassion.
Aside from that, poor Vodka! He would be the doll of a girl... that will sink his character even more... Their relationship wouldn't be aniki, but some sort of mother-son relationship

Probably, I mean a female Gin is basically a Vermouth without the disguise ability and the whole caring about Shinichi and Ran. Which would take a lot from Vermouth's character.

Gin just works as a guy, you might sympathize with Gin if he was a girl and wonder what happen to make her that way, but as a guy, you just know he's Satan in black and learning more about him almost takes away from that.

Are u a refugee?? LOL ..... the only thing i ve seen in DC is that there's none red/blue/green-hair character like in almos the other series, but it must be because DC is quite old.

DC pretends to be realistic, that is another reason for "normal" hair colours, also Gosho is (or seems to be to me) a traditional, conservative(?) mangaka in this respect.

Just because when i try to imagine a person with the hair longer than Gin thats what comes to my mind, nothing more.

By the way, if Gin lacks the skills of dressing up as someone else like Vermouth can, his long, silver hair is actually pretty easy to spot.

Just like when in volume 24 he just randomly walked in the city with his flashy car. As if he was asking for attention. If you notice him, then you are dead, because no one should remember his face. If you pretend not to notice him, you are suspicious, so you get killed by him again.
