Another random thought occurred to me, the only real magical element to DC is the shrinking poison which sets the plot. Then I started wondering, would Detective Conan be better or worse with without shinichi?
Conan is just a kid whom is ridiculously intelligent and since he's a kid, no one listens to him, so Professor Agasa helps him out, and instead of meeting Gin and Vodka at the park, he first encounters them during the Billion Yen Robbery, Akemi's death is more than enough reason to want to take down the Blacks. Which would also mean that Ai would just be a super smart kid too, there I start to find fault, since so much of Ai's character might be unbelievable if she was just a kid.
Minus the Ran Shipping, and Conan's embarrassment, about 70% of the show would be the same, and it's got me asking, Would the show be better or worse? Personally I wouldn't mind it since it'd make Conan's possible love life more interesting, but so many of RanxShin scenes I liked, and might miss.
