Actually, it's been implied on the omake at the end of volume 4 that Hakuba is actually Heiji (since he suddenly starts speaking with the Osakan dialect) XD

It is an interesting concept but I'm surprised the fictional actor playing Aoko doesn't play Ran as well. I would add something funny here but my brain is still in the process of rebooting, thanks to Mangaluva. .

eh?i haven't seen the ova but i only saw clips of it. i know kazuha wants a baby after playing with one in the subway, conan in an awkward situation, them taking him back to tokyo after he (mysteriously, i dunno how he got there) ended up in osaka.

I can  not wait to watch this, I love Heiji/Kazuha as much as Shin/Ran  , but it seems we might not see Ran in this one 

it is completely different from two and three, where the events are before the movie and Shinishi and Ran are the main people in it.
