Bring back the old soundtrack!

I miss the old DC soundtrack, it seems like the newer music ditched the old jazz feeling to it, which was incredible.  Is this the same Katsuo Ono Band from the 90's?

Ran no Thema is the posterchild of the old soundtrack music, hella good beats.  I havent heard it in a while in the anime

Exactly it did have that nice jazz feeling but now it just sounds like some dance pop music.

Also have a problem with the openings...like...tone down the ran and shinichi moments...there are other people in the anime too.

Omg I love the old DC music.  Ran's theme is ftw!

Geeze if they are going to change the music they should still keep that jazz awesomeness .  It's what I akin DC anime to. 

Eh they can never get rid of that main theme for the movies though xD.

You do realize who are pretty much the essential main characters, right? Plus, it's an opening that's like 40 seconds, it won't kill you, and people who don't like ShinRan, to sit through it. Or you could even hit the fast forward button.

I'm so glad someone else agrees.

The new soundtrack is mostly good but the original was amazing and fit the series no matter how much it changed. Well...the original and the first 5 movie soundtracks.

Seriously, when's the last time we've heard the Conan theme outside of next episode previews or movie intros? Where are the cool. not loud, yet blatantly evil BO music? OR KAITO KID'S TECHNO-Y THEME (which was brought back for the movie preview, which was awesome).

It's kinda weird since the newer version of the old soundtrack (episode 460+) was still used a lot until...er...sometime between the last Kid case and the White Witch.

Ran's theme! Sleeping Kogoro reveals the truth theme! Kogoro's theme! Conan explains things in his cute voice theme! That awesome music when they ride that I forget what it was in movie 2.

I can think of 35+ songs that need to be brought back more often. (although to be fair, one of them I remember being used in the "last episode recap" in episode 49 and than never being used ever again)

But, the music the anime team are using right now blows.  They've been keen on this one song when Conan's thinking, and it totally doesn't fit with the show and is not catchy at all.

They need to send me down to Japan and I need to talk some sense into these guys.

It awesome how in every thread there's "problems" between ShinxRan fans and AixConan LOL .... can we focus on the real deal that is talk about the old DC Music?? xD .... by the way, i think that the AixConan moments are the funniest but the RanxCon/RanxShin moment s are the best .

P.S: New DC Music kinda like me but the old DC Music is the best.

I love the old soundtrack! When I started rereading the manga, I swore I wasn't going to watch the anime. And then I heard the theme song...and now I'm sucked in.
