It's good to see a Detective Boys case that isn't just a generic case with the Detective Boys around for no reason. I also like Amnesia Shuichi shooting a fat guy.

Tho how did scar Akai  leave like that? Should somebody have spotted him save Conan and told  the police. Also wouldn't the police want to ask some questions or at least retrieve the gun from him?

yeah, Akai is such an awesome character. Hopefully everytime he appears he shoots someone for no reason.

Moreover, it's always annoying to see an episode end with a partial revelation as a result of a character saying something like, "Nevermind, it must have been my imagination." I know we've seen it before, and here it is again with Jodie/Scar Akai.

I was expecting a huge reveal concerning the robbery itself, but I was met with something that I'd already predicted--that the robbers would try to disguise themselves among the hostages. It all seemed to be building up to something great (like a fanatic suicide or something), but in the end, the big reveal I was looking for turned into nothing more than the intention to transfer money electronically (ain't that exciting...).

Piss poor, Gosho, piss poor. I'm disappointed.

Conan said something along the lines of "if the transfer is 5 million (yen) or more, it will need proper government approval before it's transfered" (or something like that).  Now, what's to stop the robbers from having multiple accounts and transferring 4.9 million yen into each, thereby bypassing the 5-million-yen-needs-approval wait?

I don't remember them stating how much and to how many accounts. One of the robbers handed a piece of paper with the instructions onto it and told him to follow it. For all we know there was more then one account listed on the paper
