Reflections on glasses prove that something dramatic is occurring.

I know that but that doesn't mean it makes much sense.

well neither do the cameos really. Just like they make him seem important to the plot when he really isn't, the reflections are just amplifying that effect.

They are to make him seem dramatic[sup]tm[/sup] and suspicioustm so that we'll all be in utter shock when he turns out to be Santa.
