No. In hockey you don't get armor, so there's more blood spilled. Also hockey sticks are longer than bokken, and there's a solid little ball of death involved as well. Much more violent.

From what I've read on other sites, her name is Vye Raythorne (instead of Ai Haibara) and Sheila Monroe (Instead of Shiho Miyano), which makes me mad at Funi again, it's just like the whole Melkior and Kasper thing, where Viz changes names to match Funi's, and Funi doesn't follow through

By the way, this was done in LOS ANGELES, USA in the study VDI Point 360 between 1998 and 2000...  and not in mexico, where we dub the most of the series. (in mexico the series are dubbed seriously, not like in Los Angeles). we weren´t luky

Our dub was a real chaos, and of course, we dont have more episodes more above of the 123.

That doesn't surprise me, as the whole name-change-and-other-things thing was requested by TMS, which was then applied to their original licensing of the first 123 episodes and two movies. Now that these other movies are newly licensed and not exactly restricted to the same requirements that it would for a TV airing, the change is somewhat expected.

I'm still going to have to wrap my head around this name, though. I mean, there's a perfectly good name given to her in the manga. Why not just use that and avoid more confusion than there already is? Of course, this also reminds me that of all the main characters, the one who has not gone a name change in the manga would be Kazuha, because she didn't appear as Kirsten until the fifth DVD was released, so she never got a name during the TV airing. It's rather confusing when I read it. Anyway, I've read the pre-comparison, and it certainly interesting (and somewhat disappointing with a few things). I eagerly await, since I don't have Comcast. :/
