It's true that people killed because of "religion". But in history, people also killed people as atheists. Example would be communism. They killed for their "believe" too.

The only difference in my thinking would be that: If she knows that they will kill them anyway, something like right after she's taken to her new science lab the BO kills all her friends etc.. Then she will probably rather kill herself or let herself be killed before she has to see her friends die.

I didn't mean to arise a religion discussion You're right Kleene, but in Christianism taking away peoples lives is TOTALLY PROHIBITED (yep, killing is bad anywhere, but for Christians is seems "more bad" ) So it's a more effective way to say "religion sucks".

He's not, though. He can't solve cases without Conan shouting out hints and pointing out the evidence, even the dramatic ones involving his friends which motivate him to try. Ran has done better, in canon anyway. Both Megure and Yuminaga called Kogoro a poor investigator. I'd take their opinion a bit more seriously than Agasa's claim, given what we've seen in story. Even Superintendent Matsumoto only commented on the reputation Kogoro gained after Shin'ichi shrunk. If Agasa isn't supposed to be completely full of it about Kogoro, I'd think any positive reputation Kogoro had came from Yusaku letting him take credit for some cases, much like Shin'ichi is doing now.

I know what you mean, and I agree. He sort of gives out the feeling that he could be an amazing detective. And he solved a big part of a case in more than one occasion.
