I wonder why Hairaba has not yet started on a way to either make the anti drug better or a way to be able to use the anti drug longer. if she could find a way to remove the resistance effect of the anti drug, in theory it could reverse or stop the body developing a tolerance to the anti drug. If the body does develop a tolerance, it will require more and more of it to get the same effects that a small dose once had.

If Haibara wanted to destroy the body resistance that's building because of the temporal antidote, she will have to destroy the antibodies of Shinichi's body, which can't be healthy AT ALL. I don't know if there's way to avoid the antibodies attack the antidote (I know veeery little about the human body ), but destroying them is not an option.

What I think should happen when Shinichi finally gets the permanent antidote is that, thinking he has a very limited time and remembering the other times he's had a temporary antidote, he runs up to Ran, confesses, and kisses her. Now THAT would be awesome!

Well, Since the last time he took 2 pills of APTX and we saw how this time he didn't reach the 12 hours like most, there's a risk that maybe he will not get his body back, so he must be patient and careful; one of the reasons of why Ai doesn't give him APTX often is 'cuz there's the risk that he will build a resistance to the APTX and then he will never get his body back. And, well, Conan/Shinichi knows that but still he can't avoid it, since he loves Ran so much :/ But I hope that Gosho will make Conan get his REAL body back ans stay with Ran, if that doesn't happen. . . ¬¬

Now that you mention it, the effectiveness of APTX4869 IS really DECREASING!! But Shinichi actually took 3 pills. The first time was in the Dark Knight arc. It lasted probably a day and a half, I'm not mistaken. The second time was the Shiragami case. That lasted for probably a day and a few hours or maybe a day and a half. But the third time definitely only lasted for half a day, or even less than that. So he really may not get his body back.

Yep. His body building resistance is actually a fact. If he keeps like this, not even 200 pills will be enough to be Shinichi for a single hour.

Maybe the under-developed drug works like this: If you take consecutive drugs, the effectiveness would decrease. Yet, if you take them separately, you'll be fine.

Like I said earlier, the first and only time in Dark Knight case probably lasted for a day and a half. The same goes to shiragami case first time, but the second time, it's only a few hours. So maybe it works like that?

It is hard to determinate the time it both lasted But definetely taking them consecutively makes the effect last MUCH less.
