So I'm assuming that none of you read my post earlier about a new topic except the AiCon people. Oh well, here I go again! XD

What, in your opinion, is the saddest ShinRan moment?

Mine has to do with the episode right after Valentine.

It's the part where Agasa asked Conan/Shinichi why he didn't tell Ran's feelings after he ate her chocolate, and Conan said something like, "She would want to see me…If I told her how I felt, she’d just miss me even more…After all, I’m a guy who’s been breaking her heart by making her wait an eternity. Even though I’m always by her side…I don’t want to see her cry anymore…Even if it means I no longer have a place in her heart". Conan's expression was so sad that it makes me sad.

Hopefully we can continue this topic.

But, in OVA 9,

when Conan (as a teenager) found Ran at his house... and Ran was going to marry Araide... That was pretty sad. Seeing the future, if Conan never turns back to normal... And seeing Ran marry someone else... -I can't keep this in-

But, he can always have her as Conan .... I mean, When he gets to 17 years old again if he didn't urn back yet there would be no way he can keep her from knowing, I mean, she can't be THAT blind can she?? ... Even if he's physically 10 years younger than she they can be together.

I think Ran is pretty oblivious to the fact that Shinichi and Conan look EXACTLY alike if Conan took off his glasses.
How is it even possible that Conan is related to Agasa, and not Shinichi?

The episode that Ran saw Conan w/o his glasses should have convinced her he was Shinichi.

Well, she did say that he looks extremly like Shinichi. That kind of makes me wonder if she really does suspect him or not. Maybe she really does, but she's just too afraid to admit it. Hopefully, that OVA won't become a reality in the DC world. The scene was just too sad for me to bear!

And when Conan saw her expression, he was desperatly trying to explain, except that Ran wouldn't listen because she was way too sad. Conan's expression was so sad too when he said "Shinichi-niichan said that I will definitely return, even if I die". That was such an epic moment. Even though it was a sad moment, I kept thinking, isn't this some kind of confession? If you don't like someone, you wouldn't tell him/her to wait for you forever, and say something like even if I die probably means that you like that person a lot so that you are WILLING to risk death to just come back and see him/her, right?

Yeah sure! The sad moments are kind of depressing even though they're awesome.
Umm...a funny moment for me happens in Shinichi's first case where he can't fall asleep because Ran's breath is practially on his face. And he admitted that he was distracted by her. XD

Shinichi's prince suit was kind of funny looking though. The Dark Knight outfit is better. Ran looks good in both dresses! Can't help it because she's that pretty, haha. So what's your favorite ShinRan moment from AO?

I have a bunch of favorite AO moments between Shinichi and Ran.

- Movie 13, Ran protecting Conan.
- OVA 9, Older Conan meeting with Ran at his house... so sad.
- Magic File 3, What Conan did for Ran. The tree & telling Eri about how much Ran missed her.
- Lupin Case, The part where Shinichi takes Ran and runs off to get married (in the fantasy).
- Lupin Case, Seeing Conan jump onto the moving plane to save Ran.
- Movie 1, He entered the mall to save Ran.
- Movie 2, Ran kisses him to give him air.
- Movie 2, He shot Ran to save her. Scary but a touching moment.
- Movie 4, Ran was a target because she noticed a shooting. She lost her memory and Shinichi tried so hard to help her. Then at the end, he actually saved Ran's life.
- Movie 11, Ran was fighting the bad guys at the end and Conan gave her the air tank invention, but she gave it back.
- Movie 12, (Actually might be Canon because it was also mentioned in an episode) Ran and Shinichi walk together and they're mad at each other. But hearing the music made them forget about their anger.
- Movie 13, Ran protects Conan, and then Conan protects Ran.
- At the beginning, Conan was dreaming about Gin and Vodka. And he was so scared when he thought Ran  might be in danger.
