I don't know... she sounds horrible on that, but then again EVERYONE sounds horrible on that, as compared to their voices used for the show. I'd wait until the movies come out before I'd give a final verdict. I mean, it can't be as bad as it sounds in the game... right?

Then again, there are a ton of sloppy things done in the english version of that game. And this is coming from me just viewing gaming footage (The game hasn't been released yet in the US, and I really doubt that it ever will, so unless you have an adaptor that can play PAL imports on the Wii, you'll probably be out of luck in getting to play it.)

Keep in mind that FUNi didn't direct the voice acting for that game.  The voice actors just recorded it from the game, most likely through whatever company decided to license and release the game in Europe.  So I wouldn't just give up on her voice yet.  FUNi is a big name in the anime crowd and I'm sure that Haibaras voice will improve, at least a little, when someone more capable is in charge of directing the voice actors.

Although I'm just basing this all off of what I believe, not fact, so yup... Give it a chance

Uh, it's already known who'll do her voice. It's Brina Palencia. Only other work I've experienced that she's done is Private First Class Tamama from Sgt. Frog. Safe to say not using the same voice. XD

Furthermore, the same girl who does Haibara is doing Holo in Spice & Wolf, and she sounds really good in that.

Correct, FuNi had very little input in the game, other than providing the voice actors. Which explains why everyone, not just Haibara, sounds really bad.

So basically, I agree with you in that we should really wait until the movies come out before we cast our judgement on the role. Plus, really, there's no way she's going to sound as bad as she did in that game.
