After reading Jd-'s post about quitting DCTP, I must admit that I was in shock and even shed a tear. Jd-'s departure is a sad event because he has been working in subbing Conan for more than 5 years now! It will be really hard for me to watch Conan without the Jd- touch of perfection in each episode. I'm very grateful to him and basically to everyone working in DCTP.

Before discovering DCTP, I had stopped watching Detective Conan, simply because they had stopped showing it where I live. I didn't even know that fansubbing existed until I found DCTP's website. Watching all those Conan fansubbed episodes was/is my favorite hobby! I spent a great part of my life watching and re-watching them! And being here in these forums is really making me happy; I've enjoyed each minute I spent here so far.. Though, now, I will truly miss reading Jd-'s funny posts and magical topics. Those were some great moments.

Without you and your awesome efforts, I wouldn't have kept watching DC; I wouldn't have discovered Japanese culture and language; I wouldn't have taken Japanese classes and probably would have missed an awesome part of my life! I owe you big time, Jd-, and all the other fansubbers!

So I'm taking this opportunity to thank ALL DCTP members! Without you all, DCTP wouldn't have existed. And I'd also like to thank all the other fansub groups, active and non-active, new and old, who contributed in subbing Conan and bringing it to us. You all rock! > YouTube <<

i want to thank every single group or people who had worked on detective conan, through all my struggles in life i know that sometimes when i just turn on my computer i know i can escape the troubles of realities and indulge myself in my favorite anime, DETECTIVE CONAN!

thanks for everything DCTP! you guys had made my life and hopefully many others, just a bit more enjoyable!

And, of course, that does happen to be one of my all-time favorite B'z songs. In fact, not only was it one of the first ones that I heard outside of the Conan sphere, it was the first B'z song that I did a karaoke effect for--which just so happened to be in a music video karaoke battle with one Techman_16. It really does bring back memories; that was... probably three or four years ago itself, so it's been quite a while since then. Times have changed some, I guess.

At first I can't believe it but now all I have to say is: THANKS for all your hard work Jd-. You're the best.

I had no idea. THANK YOU so much for everything you have done for DC over the years. but also thank you for giving me the courage to start KAW our first batch anime and live action release is going to be dedicated to you.
