The very opening screen from LvC is the most Engrish thing I've ever seen.

"US SANATE" from the Kevin Brown assassination trials, episode 425.  Yes, I suck for not actually posting the screencap.

The english in animes always make me laugh. Most characters in animes don't know english so well, but apparently even real japanese people don't know english as well.

Nope, no suckage here.  If you name 'em, I'll post them for you!

The anime and manga have gotten the FBI credentials/badges wrong on a couple of occasions.  I know Gosho used the wrong seal next to the "F" in "FBI" in the manga for the front page of File 606 (he used the seal for the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission rather than the Federal Bureau of Investigation).  The rest looked just about right on the manga's part.

The anime's, however....

Don't worry.  This is Andre's twin, Andrew.  Andre works for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  Andrew, however, works for the Federal Bureau of Intelligence.

The Bureau of Intelligence is an oxymoron in this case!  And it's Andorew, not Andrew.  And what the heck does "inestimater" mean?

How come the animation studio is so bad with english?  Can't they just hire someone..hell, you could probably find a dedicated Conan fan that speaks english and japanese to do the english translations for free.

And I always thought that this is Camel's twin brother: Maybe they just don't think that people care about whatever they are writing. Their first of all aim is japanese audience. They don't know that DCTP subs the episodes for people who understand english better.

You can ask the same question as to why they don't hire English speaking voice actors for characters such as Jodie and Vermouth.  (If I have to hear them say 'ooman' one more time, I'm gonna...)  It's because they don't want to go to all the trouble of having to deal with someone outside the Japanese anime/manga industry.

This really begs the question: "Who the HELL did Heiji's English voice?"  Was it some VA's American husband or something???
