I'll bet it's a double disguise. Kaito Kid fiddles with his hair so it looked like Shinichi's under the mask. Here's something strange though. That biohazard box and the lab door said biosafety level 4 on it which is only for severe to fatal disease in humans which don't have vaccines or other treatments. Since a red rash seems to be a symptom, and Ran has it, wouldn't that lead to a.. err... rather severe problem? And if Kid does indeed kiss her, wouldn't that be an issue for him as well? Maybe Kaito Kid has magical healing saliva. -_-

Shinichi disguising as Kaito, while Kaito disguising as Shinichi... Which mean, the one kissing Ran is really Shinichi (whom disguising as Kaito)

Dunno how Conan could revert back into Shinichi though...

It looks like one of the terrorists slapped Ai to me. All the more reason fo them to get their asses handed to them by Conan and Kid, IMO.

I lost all my hopes. Haibara never gets any important role in the movies. Even in the BO-related ones.

He'd most likely be too busy dealing with KID kissing Ran. That is if it's not him who's actually disguised as KID.

Entirely possible in fiction. It could be that Kaito actually has the vaccine in him and plans to give it to Ran by body fluid exchange like blood or saliva....what, this is common in animes .

What most likely is going to happen is Kaito is just going to get Ran in close, prick her with the vaccine in the arm and say "Sorry I'm not your Prince, though I would like to be" then jump off.
Or the vaccine knocks Ran out and she wakes up thinking she just had a dream about kissing Shinichi. Typical movie stuff but they are pulling all stops to pack the theaters by showing a scene of Ai getting slapped(the Ai fanbase would charge to the theaters to know who they have to kill if that scene is true) and Ran kissing someone who isn't Shinichi(the RanxShinichi fanbase will rush to squeal in their seats if it happens).
