From the previously on segment, the team of Yukiko, Okiya and Kid sounds absolutely wonderful and should be a sitcom.

And now Haibara is mad at Conan for not telling her anything about this plan. It's like Gosho is writing the series just for me. I was honestly just grinning throughout the whole intro, from Conan knowing who Bourbon is, to him being his asshole confident self, to Haibara's justified annoyance at keeping stuff from her to Agasa knowing about tsundere. Wonderful, all of it.

I was about to say "wait, is that actually the same tennis court or is this just really lazy writing?" Unfortunately, I don't think Conan will be turned on by socks or whatever that was last time.

MAKOTO'S POINTLESS CAMEOS EPISODE...wait no, wrong character. Never mind!

TENNIS PLAYER BOURBON! YES! ...this is so stupid, it's amazing.

So far this episode is the best example of why minimal-to-none case focused episodes is a good idea occasionally. This is just fun.

The case itself is fine outside of the curse of "no one cares about one-off characters like this". But it does hurt it because you characters aren't fun and don't matter and will never appear again after this, let me have fun.

When Scar Akai pops up now it says "He is ***" instead of "Who is He?!"

Following the trio of new characters for the arc its "Their Purpose is ***" instead of "Who is Burbon?"

Ah the first two minutes of this episode, confirmed what I thought, that the text messege Conan recieved that changed his mood, had to be in reference to Vermouth. being on the train.

Nope it appeared on first episode of Mystery Train the Conan deduction

Why do Haibara still asking who is Subaru, don't she confirm that Okiya could be Dai Moroboshi.

And Conan never thought the reason Bourbon part-timing at Poirot and becoming Kogorou's apprentice is to investigate whether Kogorou is related to Sherry and FBI and had some information regarding BO, as Gin is still suspected Kogorou back to Episode 425.

She didn't manage to get his scarf off back in Froth, Steam, and Smoke which would have confirmed her suspicions. Now that she knows Okiya is an ally, she is probably stalking him, waiting for the right moment to suddenly undress him.

Btw, I noticed this:

Amuro had a "normal" life (I'm saying this because he mentioned he played tennis while he was in his high school(i think?), like Akemi. Maybe Bourbon/Amuro grown up with the b.o members, like Akemi? And made his life, and now he is a high rank member ? '-'
