Was she there by (a very huge) coincidence, or was she following Bourbon or someone else??
Does anyone know?

I really don't think it was coincidence—if Shinichi/Conan got kidnapped, she certainly has a stake in being there, in case Rei/Tooru/Bourbon and the others can't save him.RucyL wrote:I just read again the Detective's Nocturne, and there is something bothering me. At that point in the story, I think Gosho wanted her to be there to officially establish that Subaru, Masumi and Tooru were the Bourbon suspects, since they all were using their phones while Vermouth was.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

I just want to know what will happen to ran and shinichi? I'm a bit irritated with the fact that there's less ShinRan moment. And rumors said that detective conan movie 21 will be a lot of heiji and kazuha "love story" sigh I want ShinRan duh haha

No-one can know the answer to that: it's all up to Aoyama.
And it's been confirmed that Movie 21 will focus on Heiji & Kazuha yeah.
I know it's been a while of ShinRan but there's been a lot in plot as of late as well so maybe there'll be more in the next files.

Not before August at least, but apart from that we simply don't know yet.

@iyukiarisu: ALL manga episodes have been turned to anime. Sooner or later.
Just happens the anime not always follows the order of the manga.
But be assured: there WILL be an anime version.

Were any Detective Conan Movies ever shown in theaters in United States and Canada?

Yes, the first six movies were dubbed, and they presumably made it to American theatres. I could be wrong though (as in they were made into TV movies instead).Firefox wrote:Were any Detective Conan Movies ever shown in theaters in United States and Canada?

Thank you, Swagnarok. Could it be that they made the first 6 movies only to DVDs, but not theaters? I searched online but didn't find anything about them shown in theaters.Swagnarok wrote:Yes, the first six movies were dubbed, and they presumably made it to American theatres.
