Spoiler:
Yes, just like when we didn't hear the rest of Elena's tape during vermouth arc up until MT case, when Akai was gonna drive to Raiha pass, james wanted to call jodie and the others about the situation but akai held his hands to stop him from calling(this happened the moment before the fake death)......Scarlet Arc revealed continuation that James noticed that akai's fingers were slippery as he was holding hands and Akai started explain what conan's grand plan was!
DC's Awesome Qoutes:
Spoiler:
Bourbon:''A child's curiosity and a detective's spirit of inquiry do have much in common'' Vermouth:''A secret makes a woman, woman'' Mary/Gin:''It's like encountering a demon in the darkness...'' Akai Shuichi:''Fear of death is worse than death itself'' Shinichi Kudo:''following the smell of blood to arrive upon a crime scene, using every one of your senses to hunt the culprit, then once you've seized hold of him, sinking your sharp teeth(your evidence) until your opponent gives up the ghost, That's a detective''
Should we consider what happens in the DC movies canon? (I define canon as in something Aoyama-Sensei would approve of and would've drawn, has it not made it into a movie). For example, Kazuha being Heiji's first love?
@TanteiSa: no. All happenings on the movies aren't cannon (save for the M18 reveal because Gosho approved of it) since they're not reflected in any way on the manga (the reason for Kogoro's and Eri's separation in M2, Kogoro's "confession" to Eri in M4, etc.).
Yamamura becoming an Inspector was revealed in movie 13 for the first time, Aoyama must have approved of that as well right?

@MeiTanteiX: No, the Yamamura thing was decided by the movie staff. Gosho later made it canon by incorporating it into the manga in "The Dream the Kappa Saw" case.
Shiratori began as a movie-only character but Gosho ended up adopting the character as well.

Gosho is actually much more involved with the movies than the common shonen writer. We have interviews in which he claims that he reads the scripts in order to approve of them and change things if needed.
Even if the Yamamura thing was decided by the writer of the movie, Gosho still had to approve of it first.
Something I've been wondering about for a while now: Why are we getting fewer specials compared to back then? Like, the last time we had one was Ep 734 and before that was ep 651. Is it due to the time constraints or the station's decisions?
I think it was commented before: audience ratings aren't that high and when it comes to specials they must ask other shows to lend them their time-slot and I guess that it's quite a fuss nowadays. So I think they only do specials when they feel like they could be profiting.

I seriously thought this was clear as day, but I'll repeat it nonetheless. Do not direct or link people to english scanlations or raws of the manga/anime. This site doesn't deal with those things anymore.
2 basic rules:
Don't ask for scans or where to find them.
Don't link/direct to scans.
