People really, translators have lives too. If you want fansub groups to release stuff faster, then help them.

It's obvious this anime is not famous enough as not many sub group not bother with it and one group take so long. Just end the series and get over with it.

Since we have one group to do it right the first time, we don't need ten rushed efforts demonstrating how not to do it ahead of time.

This anime is made for the japanese crowd first and foremost. They don't give a damn if people outside japan don't get access to it subbed a day, a week or a month after it airs and they certainly won't end it just because mannenryu isn't happy with that. Be grateful it's still subbed by anyone (and with quality subs), even if not at lightning speed, after 700+ episodes, 17 movies, 18 years...

I don't buy into the "sub because popular" mentality. I'd prefer "popular because sub" - one group does it right and well, people watch the subs, get interested, get hyped (:P) and cause a chain reaction.

HUGE IMPROVEMENT over movie 16.

Always something suspenseful to keep it coming.

It has a slow start, but it's totally worth the watch. And they get the quiz out of the way before the opening credits. Good movie.

Who would've thought that Kogoro being his usual narcissistic self would actually save Ran's life? Too bad I saw that twist coming a mile away.

It was good but the only thing interesting to discuss for me is that they tried almost hilariously hard to make certain climactic parts so much more EPIC than they were.

that whole fight scene was somehow more ridiculous to me than anything in movies 13 or 14. Probably because the rest of the movie was trying so hard to be believable.
