Remember that Conan came out on friday the 5th of july (I don't know why they don't release it on saturday instead, it could increase its position in the box office charts if they did).

8th in Taiwan for its 2nd weekend with 3 new entries above it. I'd really like to know the gross though, if someone knows where I could find it...

On the japanese side, Pokemon's 16th movie opened last weekend and had ok numbers but nothing outstanding. Unless it shows greats legs it should stay behind this year's Conan movie in total gross. If Conan vs Lupin has a good start the franchise might end the year 2013 with two of its movies in the End of year Top 10 (I looked at the fall schedule and apart from the second Ghibli release and Evangelion 4.0 if it's not delayed to 2014 I don't think anything will top 3.5 billion yen).

Movie 17 Final Total - Final estimate : 3.61 billion yen.

It came out in spring already? I... I didnt realize, thought it wouldnt until autumn!
I dont know if I want to spoil it by watching it without really understanding that much Do I really care, Im so going to the cinema this weekend

It goes to theaters in spring and comes out on DVD in autumn.
