maybe to some people feel so glad because no romance scene Shinichi-ran but for some people the other eart also to much feel boring n broke with the loss of sweet scene Shinran in this movie.
Moreover for the high school student like me. because we are watching n follow dc movie 20 to wait romance main chara also. So we are feel broked with this movie because eliminates Shinichi ran scene ,
so many of my other friends who regret to buy the ticket teaters.
I think production team forgot dc not only for mature people but also teenager n children n production team have to
remember the power of film n manga not only in BO for case- cases and mystery but there is need romance scene for teenagers audence. N it nothing in movie 20.

Some movies focus on romance, some movies focus on action. Next year the movie focus on romance. Don't demand the production to incorporate everything in the movie, especially in a movie with BO. Even bring all the cast to this movie is already a burden for them. I am annoyed by the fact that movie 20 has so many irrelevant characters. And romance in DC is just Shin-Ran? No.ersha wrote:eros @

Indeed, there is always an Ai-Shin. I'm tired of all the romance in this series. This is an action series, and not a soap opera. They don't have to show at every fitting time that Ran loves Shinichi and is missing him. We already know that. I want action.eros1607 wrote:And romance in DC is just Shin-Ran? No.
Anyway, is this movie available in English already?

Don't ask about subs or when it's available in English. You've been on this site long enough to know that it's against the rules.

I'm not asking for them or when they will be available. I just asked if the movie is available in English. Just that. I didn't mention subs or anything like that. You're overreacting

No, the voice actor who voiced the young Agasa in the Ginkgo Coloured First Love case, Kazunari Tanaka, passed away yesterday at age 49.

No. Agasa's VA is Kenichi Ogata.

Although Kazunari Tanaka might have voiced him in a flash-back, either as an adult or a child.

Mod warning: This post's contents do no match this thread's purpose: this thread is solely to discuss the plot of Movie 20 and not to debate about Shin/Ran or Co/Ai. Therefore I'm moving this post's contents to the ShinichiXRan discussion thread.

He's always been like that in the movies. This isn't the first time he's done ridicilous things and helicopter shootouts.David mason wrote:Finally watched it. Fortunately it's a movie otherwise gin would be a complete idiot. That whole last act was soooooooo out of character for him

Re: Detective Conan Movie 20: "The Darkest Nightmare" (2016)
so...I just finished watching the movie
It didn't feel like I'm watching DC...AT ALL, I mean seeing something different is cool I guess?? but for some reason the plot looks kinda jumbled and out of place
Gin is also acting very ridiculous, and the Amuro vs Akai feels very unnecessary, then both chilled out like nothing happened (BvS anyone?)
I do like the interaction of Curaçao & the DB...but the rest...meh

Why's that?xLostChains wrote:Gin is also acting very ridiculous
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Gin is a very smart character in the manga (also in the anime) and he's very careful as well, I love his way of thinking, his tactics. ...
seeing him randomly shooting a public place (an amusement park -.-) and laughing his ass off, It's like he forgot they're supposed to work in the shadows and not cause too much public attention...it feels like he's just a random generic psychopath villain and he's like "f*ck these people, I'll just bring a gigantic helicopter (I forgot what its called) and retrieved our agent by causing a scene, oh wait? she's gone??? let's shoot the F*ck out of this place while I do my fantastic evil grin" -.- (I know he did this in movie 13 too...so seeing it happened again give me a huge facepalm)
don't get me wrong, Gin's my favourite character and I love reading a manga file with the black org in there...it's just these movies... *sigh* -.-

Gin's smart yes but before that he's clearly a psycho, when Vermouth was dressed up as a waiter, Gin got annoyed and tried to smash her head with an ice pick. Just like in Mystery Train he didn't care about her and Bourbon getting blown up with Sherry.
The movies just take his traits to an extreme.
