Mouri & Co. get invited to a warship. Amuro tags along because he's Mouri's apprentice. DB also get to go, which means Agasa can go and this invites Subaru to come along as well, who shares his cream stew recipe with the head cook. While there, a murder occurs (obviously), police come, find Yumi there, who joins in the investigation and discovers her ex is a suspect. They also find Sera among the passengers who was trying to pass as a male crew member, but failed because she tried to use her Jeet skills on Yumi's ex. Hattori plays telephone tag with Conan, because the ship is headed his way, and they try to solve the murder and beat everyone else at deducing the culprit. Culprit hijacks the ship to send missiles to various locations, so Conan has to use his mad computer skills to hack into the system and stop them. Meanwhile, Ran is being held hostage somewhere with Sera and Subaru, who start having a sibling reunion. Crisis adverted, they arrive in Osaka and Hattori finally treats Conan to okonomiyaki.
Oh, and Hakuba magically appears because he heard Kid was going to be there.

Also, when Ran is in mortal danger, there will be a touching RanxShin flashback in which Shinichi describes differences between Pepsi and Cola and how Pepsi is better and it will give her an idea how to break free from her imprisonment. And she will suspect Conan of being Shinichi again because he said he prefers Pepsi, but Kid will disguise as Shinichi and save Conan's ass by drinking Cola. Also, in the crucial moment of action, all communications on the ship will go down except for the telegraph, so Conan can show off with his uber knowledge of Morse's code that he learned on Hawaii (duh). Instead of simple words, the message will be in complicated code that only Heiji will be able to decipher. The culprit will aim one of the torpedes at the ship itself (!!!) in a desperate attempt to erase all evidence of his evil deeds along with all the witnesses, but Conan will stop it with a huuuuuge inflatable ball and it will bounce away at the sea where Kid will detonate it, flying away on his hanglider. Meanwhile, Yumi will share a sad moment with her ex- reminiscening how their relationship ended. Conan with his deduction ability will conclude that their quarrel was due to a stupid misunderstanding. Yumi has a boyfriend again. Gosho has no choice but to make him canon.
Oh, and there will be bungee-jumping using an anchor, but I have yet to decide who will be the one to do it.
