  IGN has it set for December 31st 2009 but also says TBA 2009 so I would think the US version is more of a when than an if.

No, it's an if.  Don't listen to IGN, they don't know jack shit.  I asked Funimation, and was told they don't even have any licensors looking at it in America yet.

Meh, I prefer Wii to 360.  Only maybe one or two games I'd want on the 360, but I have at least 6 on the Wii.

However, there's only two truths.  And those are:
Handheld > Platform
and
DS > PSP

  Aside from halo 3 I agree with everything you just said.  Im playing right now actualy lol.  Handheld games are more addicting for some reason.

I just played this game on my boyfriend's modded-Wii for an hour or so.

Haibara's English voice will take getting used to, I believe. I only heard her briefly before I discovered the option for the Japanese voices and promptly switched. ^^;

It's a little confusing as to what on Earth this game expects you to do. I'm an hour or so in and well...no one's died yet. xD;; It's obvious something's gonna happen, but I'm wandering around this Mirapolis place trying to find cutscenes in order to advance the plot. (In a way, it reminds me of Phoenix Wright in which you wander from place to place absolutely checking everything and everyone and moving back and forth until something happens that's different.)

Mirapolis is absolutely HUGE. Thankfully the game provides a nice shortcut method of getting around through the map menu.

Anyway...when I stopped playing I was still trying to figure out what I needed to explore/talk to next just so I can advance the plot. Hopefully this game will get a heck of a lot more interesting when I find the plot. =w=;;

You can use the map to see where the location of everyone is to save time, though some times you will need to go to other locations to advance the plot.

Sounds boring sadly lol.  Sounds alot like the original Sonic game for the 360.  I have decided that is the worst game ever.  Theres a point where your supposed to find a certain person in a city, after talking to everybody in the city I was about to give up when I talked to a person a third time he siad something like "Third times the charm, I actually was the person you were supposed to find.  I was just testing your persaverence" or somthing like that.  At that point I was extreamly tempted to break the disk but was able to refrain so I could trade it in and at least get some money for it >_>_>_>_>.  Makes me angry just thinking about it lol.

If you mean to download, you will need to have a modded wii.

If you mean to buy, and if you are in Europe, just go to any game store and buy it.
(Wii is not region free, so you cannot buy the european version and expect it to work on your un-modded USA wii)
I have paid someone to modify my US Wii. Though I'm not sure if they if they just installed the firmware, or also installed the chip that allows one to play PAL games in a US wii.

Penguinfan, I wouldn't compare this game to Sonic? I would say if you like games like Phoenix Wright or point-and-click adventure games and like the Detective Conan anime, you'll like this game.
The more you play, the more it feels like you are in a new episode/special/movie of DC.

Unless you have a modded wii, a downloaded version won't work for you.

Just go to any torrent site and search for the name of the game, it should come up quickly.
It's around 4GB.

Nobilis is publishing the European version. Since Nobilis seems to only publish games for European release, there would have to be another publisher to bring the game to the US, so it looks like it will be Electronic Arts. Also, usually the ESRB will have a rating posted on their site prior to the game being available, but there is nothing up for this game yet.

Ai is on the cover. That means we will hear her American voice. I've been wondering who it will be.
Brina Palencia is the VA for Anita Hailey/Haibara Ai.

Here's the cast list for the game:
Katrina Tolliver/Kazuha Toyama          Amber Cotton/Yuko Miyamura
Arrrgh... I HATE her new name... Why didn't they just stick to Katie?!?! Urrrgh....  >:(
