Ai + Conan

As I said, I don't really like Haibara because of personnal reasons. But I liked to see her evolving in the manga (facing Ran, accepting Ayumi as a real friend, etc...) so, if she doesn't want to overcome the last problem AND her most important problem, that means she finally doesn't want to evolve anymore.
That's really my own opinion but I don't want to see her loosing her life and not facing it.
I want her to win something ans live her life.

but that exactly what makes her so realistic. in real life, there are people who are too scared to face their problems so they go in another way. Haibara may act the same way. if Haibara doesn't intend to face against the world and to stop being a child, then she deserves to be a child, because all in all, it's kind of a childish act.

I still can't see a (romantic) relationship between Ai and Conan... her fascination ("interest") for Conan seems like the same fascination of let's say Takagi towards Shinichi/Kogoro or Genta/Mitsuhiko towards Conan when they solve a difficult case. Fascination of his inteligence, ideals and courage, but no romantic attraction.

maybe it was only facination in the begining,but it quickly became another sort of interest,(even if she still have admiration for him as you said)i'm too tired to repeat what i said in the previous pages,but i'm sure it isn't just "fascination"(i don't think Takagi ever dreamt about Shinichi or kogoro only because he has admiration for them...
but haibara dreamt about her moments with conan,which shows it isn't just fascination...)
she has affection for him,because  the things they passed through made them closer than in the begining... she does have feelings for him,not necessary love,or "romantic attraction"(because with ai we can't be sure contrary to the other girl in dc who are almost transparent in their feelings XD )

i never said there was a romantic relationship between them,but haibara doesn't only feel admiration for conan...

but maybe i see things that you don't see because i like this couple... for instance you like MitsuXhaibara ,but i don't see any romantic relationship between them...

i agree about that  point(except for the non-liking haibara ) if she stay as a child,it's as if she doesn't face her destiny as shiho miyano,because she 's affraid of suffering and being alone...and we saw that she had learnt to not running away...
so it wouldn't be an evolution if she stays as a child and forget her past life...
then all the moment when she shows she has changed would be a waste!that's why i don't wan't her to stay as a child

In my ideal, staying a child and not accepting to live as an adult is a regressive way of thinking.
And if you want to know the truth, I really love evolving things. It can be really slow, it doesn't matter if I see an evolution inside them.
That's my character: I like creating things (drawing, writing, creating a site...) not as a job but just as hobbies to have the satisfaction of creating something.
And I also like positives stories and positives characters in a story.

It doesn't matter if this idea sounds unrealistic.
I wouldn't be glad to see the death of Haibara. Even by the BO, it would only be a big fail. That's the only way I can see this.
You can find it interesting, revolting or I don't know what you can feel in that case for her.
I would only be disgusting to see her failing like that.

Well... actually I think he would.
And he would also have reacted the same way if it had been Ayumi in front of him...

It was just one of these "few panel comedy moments" I mentioned.  :P

If that happens the Heishi-fans would wrote twice as much as by now.

And what is wrong with her staying a kid? As Ai Haibara she has a guardian (Agasa) and friends (Detective Boys). As Shiho she has... well, if she is lucky she might be able to stay in contact with them. Or she will leave forever, trying to find a new purpose in live.

There are some theories I read on the web that Haibara may die at the end of the story. I really don't like this character but I would really be disappointed by Aoyama if she dies. If that happened, I guess my image of her would be worse than it is today... so...

I think so too since it´s the same concept for Conan/Shinichi. The life as Conan changed him for the better i say, the same counts for Ai/Shiho so i want both of them to return to their true *new* selfs.
But why would you dislike Ai more when Gosho decides for her to die cause dunno, to save Conan/Shinichi, Ran or Agasa or the kids? I would be sad for her since she could have a great developement as a chara, but disliking cause of that? I don´t get it, maybe it´s cause of the english speech.

No seriously, i also believe she has some geniue feelings for him, she only doesn´t want him to know that since she knows about him and Ran and so she guess that she has no chance with him and keep it to herself.
And you´re speaking truth in regards of their love interest the other girls/women in DC are transparent like glass. The dudes are jsut as dense as that.

If she turns back, she can do the same as Shinichi and tell the DBs everything since that´s the first thing Shinichi should (and hopefully will) do before confessing. As an adult she probably has to face the court cause of her past actions, maybe she will gets a verdict of not guilty and maybe not. But it´s better to face that and running away and be a child for a second time when it´s all nothing but a lie and so not true.
Maybe she can be principal witness or something like that for better judgement.

I don't understand why people say "Haibara will die in the end" or "Haibara will sacrifice herself and take a bullet which was meant to Conan" is it because of this Yaiba thing? If anything, I think Agasa will take a bullet which was aimed at Haibara and die.
Though that would be really cruel towards Haibara...but it will show that Agasa cares for her deeply.

risking what? if the BO is destroyed,i don't know from what she would be scared?it's only because of the BO that she had this horrible life!if there isn't BO anymore,i she won't lose anything...
if she grows up,she can still have contact with DB and living with agasa,having the same life whithout pretending  being a child....
personally,i don't think it would be good for her to forget her past life,(which means for me forget her sister,her parents at the same time),it's her difficult life ,her dramas that built her  personality,it make part of her life,and she can't deny it...
she wanted to live normally like everybody,normal people have dramas and sad events in their lives,and they keep trying to live in spite of this...  it wouldn't be "normal" if she stay as a child and live a second life...
all that she wanted was to have people who love her,a home, family and friends...if she grow up will she lose those people she loves?i don't think so...  on the contrary,she could use what she learnt as "haibara" to have new friends,a new way of life...

i think it would be a good revenge for her family,if she continue to live as shiho miyano,well it's my opinion^^

Nothing in the spoiler, but Keima is fun so i expect it to be an awesome statement. 8)

Gosho let it open if it will be an happy end or not, but since it´s for kids and no goody-good charas died so far (Akai seems to be back from the dead too) it will probably a happy ending.

What if Agasa or the DB won't accept her anymore when she is grown up and they learn she was a member of a criminal organisation? What if their parents forbid them talking with her. What if she can't find a new possition in live when grown up? (Imagine how her Curriculum would look like...

Age 17-22: Head of Criminal Toxin Research Laboratory
Age 23: Left former emplyer, due to... mutual disagreements

Age 25: Trying to find a job at a normal company

As a child she is save, she has to go to school and has all the time she needs to find her possition in live in a normal way.
