well just goes to show you didnt read my essay since i did say '(the whole thing x10)'
what a great excuse. I might use it in my query letter to a literary agent and tell him "I wrote 9000 words and imagine it X10"

Can anyone actually write a 40,000 word essay in one sitting and make sense out of it?
I would totally lose my mind before 600 words.
The longest english essay I had to write in my life was in my final english exam and it was only 100-120 words. I don't think an essay would pass the 1000 scale though. When I wrote my novel I couldn't write more than 1000 words in a row (had to have anime breaks)
hmm...I wrote like 105000 words so I must have watched something like 100+ anime episodes in the period of time in which I wrote the whole thing
100-120 words in an English exam? I write 365 words in book summaries.
oh right, book reports. There was an essay in which I needed to write somewhere between 200-300 words.
Luckily now the only subject I learn is music, and there is very little (if any) to write

I guess the age difference doesn't bother me as much since my parents have a 14 and a half year difference. Also my comment is assuming that at some point Ai and Conan return to they're original selves.
Ok but she's like 18-21 and he's in his late 50's. That's a HUGE age difference of more than 30 years! o_O
i agree...i know that age doesn't matter in love(my parents have 10 years difference),but still .....she considers him as the father she never had,so she take care of him(like Ran takes care of Kogoro)...he sure have a huge place in haibara's life, and i find their relationship very cute, but that's all...
100% agree! Besides, just because she worries about him, it doesn't mean she loves him. lol

tsk. you guys suck, already dying because of 400 words or whatever...
i can do 2000 words in 2 hours if the deadline is on the next day xD
just ignore all the punctuation, spelling and grammar errors, not to mention the amount of padding and bs in it, then its a perfectly fine essay
400 words?
In my school it is measured by pages (font etc. are given).
You have to do a essay of 10-12 pages (~5000 words) in 9th and 10th grade and an essay of 20-22 pages (~10000 words) in 12th grade. But you may choose your topic out of about 50 different topics, and you may even suggest an own topic.
Homework essays (of which you get several ones a year)(normally written a short time before a test, for practicing reasons) exist only in German (and very seldom English) and are also measured in pages. About 6 pages in German and 2 in English (in 11th grade).
