Mafia Retro Round 48 - BO Wins!

This is a copypasting of the rules that I've checked and modified for the upcoming Round. Like them? Don't like them? Here you are to post about it ^^ Something doesn't make sense? Probably. I've read ALL of it, made the changes I wanted to make and I'm hoping that I wrapped up everything in a logical way so there's no loopholes in them. If you find one, let me know!
I accept ideas/suggestions to the rules, however I won't be too prone to big changes, like including investigate or adding new abilities to some roles. I've thought every role with their ability to fit a whole purpose for this Round, which is basically: "Words are better than Actions", or "PMing players is better than PMing the GM" or "Be prepared to lie" :P

The flow of the game will be determined by how good you can be at lying, that's the key of this Round. Limited Actions, even more limited ways to prove Actions, they key resides in how well you can make others believe in you.

How to play/Rules/Roles/Keywords

Rules

[spoiler]* General
- Don't ask the moderator for information about other players' roles. It is frowned upon.
- You may not copy/quote/screenshot/film etc. the PM from the GM to proof your role to someone else. But you can claim to be a role, whether it's your real role or not.
- You can PM people and post without restrictions (except the GM stuff, see above) when you're alive. You may not talk about your investigations/suspicions/clues when you're dead (PM or not). But you may still talk about other stuff not concerning the gameplay. (You may complain to the BO for being killed for example. But you may not complain to a specific player and "hint" that he could be a BO member)
- You may fake/quote/edit other players PM, just not the GM ones.
- You have to PM the GM to vote/use your ability. Posting in the thread doesn't count. Everybody may vote for the lynching (BO too) and the votes will be posted in public.
- If you don't have time or you'll travel somewhere and can't play for some days or you want to quit the game completely, at least notify the GM.
- In case you can't play for some days, you can make a list of actions (Day 2: vote for Akonyl Night 3: Slander Kleene etc.) If you have allies from the beginning (BO, Lover, DB's or friends) you can give them the command over your character for those few days.

* Order of actions
During the game, several actions may be taken.  In order to avoid confusion, some actions have been given precedence over others.  This is most easily written as:
- You can overwrite your order.
So if you voted for conia and after that send another PM to vote for Kleene Onigiri, the last give order will be used.
The BO has a leader. It's Anokata. If Anokata is not in the game, another leader will be decided by the BO.
The leader has the ultimate right to choose a target and will give the order. No one can overwrite the leaders order. But other members can give out an order too, if the leader didn't. But the leader can overwrite that order.
- Arresting > APTX > Tricking/Intimidating > Killing > All other actions
So if Takagi decides to arrest Vodka for killing Heiji, Vodka decides to kill Takagi, and Takagi also decides to investigate something or other, the activities of the night will be such.  Takagi will successfully arrest Vodka and will therefore not be killed and he will also get his investigations in.  If Takagi does not arrest Vodka then Takagi will be killed and he will not get to investigate.
In case Satou was poisoned with APTX from Gin, and Satou arrests Gin. Satou will successfully arrest Gin and not die from APTX, because arresting is the only method to hinder APTX.
- Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid: If a player is healed, protected and First Aided, the Protection takes effect and the target doesn't need to be healed/first aided anymore, because he wasn't injured. The protectors doesn't get healed or First Aided either. The protectors will fly out of japan or get injured.
If Makoto, Ran, the protected person have the watch, the watch takes priority and the protectors didn't have to protect, thus don't have a penalty (don't fly out of japan, don't get injured). Heal and First Aid don't take effect either. The identity of the attacker won't get revealed in this single case.
- Sonokos ability > Yumis ability so Friendship > Lovers
During the prep phase, if Sonoko chooses her friends and Yumi happens to choose the same people as Lovers, then Sonokos ability comes first. So the player that got chosen as a Best friend and Lover, will become a best friend and not a lover.

* Mafia
- BO can kill BO if they so wish.
- The mafia is allowed to and is expected to consult with each other on who to kill during the night and who to lynch during the day.  You may all vote differently if you wish.
- Mafia members can only kill once until all other mafia members have killed once.  Then they each get a second turn to kill.

* Abilities and Status
- Voting: Everyone can vote during the Day Phase, whether you're a Townspeople or a Mafia member.
Only exceptions are:
You're dead
You're not in Japan
You're arrested
You were hindered by an ability (e.g. Tequila)
- If Vermouth and KID are somehow in the same game and somehow choose the same person to disguise as, they will both disguise as the same role and the targeted individual will get a new role.
- When you're arrested, you can still talk freely (PMing or posting in the thread). Also about your clues/investigations etc. Otherwise you're considered dead (can't use abilities, can't vote...)
- Healing characters (Okiya and Araide) CAN heal themselves
- Ran/Makoto can't protect themselves
- A wounded player can't use their ability but can vote[/spoiler]

The BO has a Leader. Every BO member can kill at night, but only if another BO member didn't kill less often. Every member can also use the APTX4869 during day phase.

Keywords

[spoiler]* Will, Tape/Video tape
- Every player can PM a "Will" to the GM. It can be a letter, a tape or just a item that you'll drop. This Will will be shown in case you're out of the game (Killed, lynched).
- The BO can leave a tape/video after each murder. A tape could also be from the GM and not the BO. Thus it can have true clues or false clues.
- The GM has the last decision. In case a will or tape is giving out too much info, then it can be changed by the GM accordingly.



Status
Roles with a Status: Anokata or voted BO member, Kogoro, DBs (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko) and Lover Pair

*Leader
- Role with that status: Anokata or voted player
- The leader has the final say. He can decide which BO member will kill who (whether it's normal killing or sniping). His order has priority over all other members.
- He can't command someone else to use APTX. So he also can't change the APTX target either.
- If Anokata is not present in a game (or was killed) the BO will choose a Leader. They can either go for the ranking according to the role list (Anokata, Gin, Vermouth, Bourbon ...) or they vote for their own ranking. So each player PMs the GM with a ranking.
- Example:
Conia votes:Akonyl (Vodka), Conia (Korn), Pofa (Gin)
Akonyl votes: Conia (Korn), Akonyl (Vodka), Pofa (Gin)
Pofa votes: Pofa (Gin), Conia (Korn), Akonyl (Vodka)
Then the ranking would be: Conia(Korn), Akonyl (Vodka), Pofa(Gin). So Conia would be the new Leader. In case Conia dies then Akonyl will become the new leader etc.
- The leader ranking has nothing to do with the APTX ranking! In case there are not enough APTX, then the ranking of the listed BO roles will be used.

* FBI Leader
- Role with status: James Black
- At the onset of the round, the FBI Leader is given notice of how many of his subordinates (Jodie, Akai, Camel, Kir) are in the game. This count includes characters disguised as his subordinated.
- If someone is disguised as a subordinate, James will receive a small hint akin to, "You believe something is strange with your suborinate(s)..."
- After each night, James will receive a number of results from his subordinates based upon how many are left in the game. If 3+ are in the game, he will receive two results; if 0-2 are in the game, he will receive only one result.

* Drunk and Sober
- Role with that status: Kogoro
- The player starts with the Status Drunk if at least one of the roles Eri, Ran, Conan or Shinichi are in the game. A disguised Ran etc. doesn't count.
- If none of these roles are in the game from the beginning, the player starts as Sober
- While drunk the player get's random results from Interrogate
- The player get's Sober after one of the roles Eri, Ran, Conan or Shinichi dies. Not every role needs to die, one role makes him already sober.
- After the player get's Sober, he can analyze his Interrogations during the day (even the one before he got sober). So he can Interrogate during the night and analyze his results during the day. He get's the correct answer with the analysis, whether the result was wrong because of being Drunk or because it was slandered.

* Group
- Roles with that status: Mitsuhiko, Ayumi, Genta
- The player will know the identities of the other Detective Boys except Conan and Haibara
- There are at least 2 DB's in the game.

* Lovers
- Players with that status: Decided by Yumi
- Players will be chosen to be lovers by Yumi during prep. phase.
- Lovers know the identity of each other.
- When one lover dies, the other dies too by suicide in the same phase. No one can heal, protect or prevent the lover in any way from suicide.
- A Town/town pair wins together with the town. A BO/BO pair wins together with the BO. A Town/BO pair doesn't win when the town or the BO wins. To win as a Town/BO pair they need to kill  everyone else to get a stalemate.
- DB's (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko) and Friends (Sonoko + Best Friend) can't be lovers.



Prep. actions
There are decisions that a player has to make during the Preparation Phase.
Roles with Prep. Actions: Vermouth, KID, Yumi, Sonoko, Hakuba, Makoto

* Disguise
- Roles with that action: Vermouth, KID
- The player chooses a number of players to disguise as. (GM tells how many players to choose) The player will then disguise as that role and be able to use their actions, just like being that role.
- Scent won't be taken. So KID disguised as Akai or Okiya etc, won't have a scent.
- You choose player names (Akonyl, Conia etc.) not roles names (Agasa, Heiji etc.) or roles (Detective, Police etc.)
- The player who was that role first will get a different role. He will not know that KID or Vermouth disguised as his previous role. He will not know that he got a different role either.
- Vermouth will stay as a BO member. She can't become a Townspeople..
- They can't disguise as: BO members, Conan, Sherry, Eri, DB's (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko), Lovers, and prep. Phase roles (Sonoko, Yumi, Vermouth, KID, Hakuba, Makoto)
- If KID and Vermouth choose the same player, then both will disguise as that player. So KID and Vermouth can both be disguised as Ran. But there will be no true Ran inn the game.
- The player will have items from his original role and from his disguised role. So he can have 2x gun in case KID or Vermouth disguises as a Police officer.

* Amor
- Roles with that action: Yumi
- Chooses pairings to be lovers (GM tells how many exactly)
- Yumi can choose a player just once. So he can't choose: AkonylxKleene and AkonylxCallid. He needs to change it into AkonylxKleene and ConiaxYuriko for example.
- There can be all pairings that the player chose or just 1 pair or 2 pairs etc. Yumi won't know who really became lovers and who didn't.
- DB's (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko) and Friends (Sonoko + Best Friend) can't be lovers.


* NOC
- Roles with status: Kir
- Player gets to know how many Black Org members are present in the current game (not their identities).

* Friendship
- Roles with that action: Sonoko
- Sonoko chooses a list of players she wants to befriend. (GM tells how many players to chose)
- Sonoko will befriend randomly one of these players. They will become friends and will know the identity of each other.
- Roles she can't befriend: DB's, Lovers and BO members.
- If Sonoko befriends KID, she will also know the disguised role and not that it's KID disguised as someone. KID has the freedom to tell Sonoko that he's KID or not.
- When Sonoko's friend dies because he/she was killed by the BO, she will learn the attacker identity. She will not learn the identity when her friend was sniped or killed with the APTX.
- Sonokos ability > Yumis ability so Friendship > Lovers
During the prep phase, if Sonoko chooses her friends and Yumi happens to choose the same people as Lovers, then Sonokos ability comes first. So the player that got chosen as a Best friend and Lover, will become a best friend and not a lover.

* Traveling
- Roles with that action: Hakuba, Makoto
- They can choose if they want to travel during the preparation phase by sending a PM to the GM.
- If they do they will be on the plane during night 1, so they can't use their action during that night. They will arrive during day 1 and can participate in voting or use their day-ability (Makoto).

Night actions:
Roles with Night actions: Anokata, Gin, Vodka, Pisco, Tequila, Irish, Chianti, Korn, Calvados, Bourbon, Akemi, Okiya, Eisuke, Megure, Satou, Takagi, Shiratori, Chiba, Yumi, Akai, Jodie, James, Camel, Kir, Shinichi, Heiji, Conan, KID, Hakuba, Kogoro, Araide, Eri

* Blame
- Role with action: Anokata
- May opt to blame someone for committing a crime on the same night.
- Any arrests for the blamed action will come back as "true", and the townie will be arrested for the blamed action as well.
- Vermouth and Irish cannot arrest players for blamed actions.

* Slander
- Role with that action: Gin
- Can slander any player at night, whether it's someone from Town or BO
- When that slandered player is interrogated, his "alignment" will change to the opposite during the night it was used
- Slander just last for one night. But it can be used on the same target over and over
- The player doesn't get a PM, whether his slandered target was interrogated or not. Thus he doesn't know if his slandering was effective.
- Can be tricked/intimidated. Then the Player won't get any results but a "failed action" as a PM
- Slander doesn't affect Investigate, just Interrogate
- Example:
Gin slanders Akonyl, who is Ran. Conia interrogates Akonyl and get's a "BO" result because Akonyl was slandered. If Akonyl wasn't slandered then Conia would get a "not BO" as a result

* Erasing
- Roles with that action: Pisco
- The player can erase a body once (one-time use) if someone else besides him is killing the victim. If he successfully erased the victim, then he can't do this again. If the killing was hindered in any way, then he can erase again and the one-time use wasn't wasted.
- The player can always choose to erase a body or not when he is killing the victim himself. It's not a one-time action and can be repeated as long as Pisco is the one killing the victim.
- The identity of the erased player won't be shown. Pisco will be the only one who get's to know the identity of the erased body.

* Sniping
- Roles with that action: Chianti, Korn, Calvados
- Sniping will bypass any protection (Ran, Makoto and Agasas Watch).
- In case Ran or Makoto protected the target, the target will die and the protectors wasted their ability and have to do their penalty. (Makoto flies away, get's injured etc.)
- This doesn't bypass healing (Heal and First Aid) in any way. So a healed/first aided target will survive.
- The identity of the attacker doesn't get revealed in any way (not by Sonoko and not by a protector etc.)
- If the sniper get's tricked, nothing will happen. The target doesn't die and the protectors fly back or get injured either.

* Detect
- Role with that action: Bourbon, Okiya
- Can detect if one certain role is in the game per night. He needs to ask for the character name (Shinichi, Heiji, Ayumi...) and not the role (Detective, Police...)
- If Vermouth or KID are in the game, he will get a "true". If he asks for his/her disguise, then he'll get a false.
- Example:
Vermouth disguised as Ran. Shinichi is in the game, Conan isn't.
Detect: Vermouth is in the game.
Answer from GM: true
Detect: Ran is in the game
Answer from GM: false
Detect: Conan is in the game
Answer from GM: false
Detect: Shinichi is in the game
Answer from GM: true

* Abduct
- Role with that action: Irish
- Irish will abduct one character that is not played in the game by any player during night 1. The GM will send him the name of one random town-sided character not in the game
- When Irish is killed his abducted character will be discovered and the name becomes known to the town

* Spying
- Role with that action: Irish
- Irish chooses a list of players not in the BO equal to 1/3 of the number of town players (= number of APTX). Of these, the GM picks a random one and sends the name of the role to Irish. Irish will not know from which of the players he just learned the role
- He will only know there is a "Shinichi" in the list of 5 players (= 14-16 town players), but not which one of these 5 players really is Shinichi
- This does not reveal if someone is Kid, just who he's disguised as

* House search
- Role with that action: Megure
- Can order a house search during night. This will reveal everything about the target, all actions since the start of the game, disguise and role etc.
- If the target did not commit a crime, then the player has to leave the police, his identity will be revealed and will become a commoner (doesn't have any abilities, but can still vote)
- Crimes are: Killing (normal, sniping or using APTX), disguising, slandering, tricking or intimidating, abducting, erasing, frightening, steal. Being in the BO isn't a crime. So for example, you can't blame Conia for being Gin.
- This action can't be tricked/intimidated. But it can be hindered when the police officer get's killed.

* First Aid
- Role with that action: Okiya
- May alternatively choose one player to give First Aid at night instead of Detect.
- Can use First Aid on himself.
- The player who received First Aid will not die immediately if attacked (by killing or sniping), but will instead be severely wounded.
- A severely wounded character can not vote for lynching and can't use his day actions, and will die at the next nightfall, but has learned his attackers identity (unless it was a sniper) and may freely talk about it (and anything else, of course - until he dies).
- Watch protection > Protect > Heal > First Aid: see under Rules

* Heal
- Role with that action: Araide
- Can use Heal on any player, including himself.
- The healed player doesn't die because of killing. Can't heal APTX or a wounded person.
- If there is a attack that was successfully healed, everyone involved (also protectors (Ran, Makoto) and Okiya) will know the attackers identity.
- The attacker will also know that the target was healed/first aided, but not from whom and if there were any protectors involved.
- Watch protection > Snipe Guard > Protect > Heal > First Aid: see under rules

* Lawsuit
- Role with that action: Eri
- Can bring back anyone who has been arrested with a lawsuit. There will be a message that the imprisoned player is out of prison. The identity of the one who was in prison won't get revealed to anyone tho.

* Frighten
- Roles with that action: Tequila
- The frightened player can't use his ability the next day. He also can't vote the next day.
- The frightened player won't know that he got frightened. So he'll pm his day action and his voting. Then (on the next night) his vote will show as if he didn't vote. He doesn't get a notice that his voting didn't work. So in case he didn't vote and doesn't have a day action, the player won't notice that he was frightened.
If he used a day action, then the GM will PM him that his actions failed. He won't get a notice if he has a day action but didn't use it. He will just notice that he got frightened after he used his day action and got a PM that it didn't work.

* Trick and Intimidate
- Roles with that action: Eisuke(Trick), Vodka(Intimidate)
- People that were tricked/intimidated will fail with their night action on the same night.
- This doesn't affect Day actions.
- The people intimidated/tricked will get a PM from the GM that their night action failed. They will just get a notice in case they used a night action. If they have a night action and didn't use it or have a day action or no active action, they won't know that they were tricked/intimidated via PM.
- The Night action Arrest can't be tricked/intimidated in any way. All other night actions can be tricked/intimidated. You can also trick the interrogation/investigation that the player was able to do through the Bow-tie from Agasa. Protection from the watch can be tricked too.
- Tricking/Intimidating can prevent the BO from killing or sniping someone.
- If this night action is investigated, it doesn't matter if you investigate "Akonyl tricked conia" or "Akonyl intimidated conia". Both action are counted as the same ability.  So the investigator won't know of it's Vodka or Eisuke who tricked someone.
- If a tricked action is investigated, then the action will be shown as "false", because the action wasn't done in the end.

*Steal
- Roles with that action: KID, Akemi
- Can steal one item from one person per night. Can steal from that person again on the next night.
- An already stolen item can't be stolen again.
- If the player steals from a disguised player, he can steal from the disguise or from the original role (KID, Vermouth). The player won't know it it's from the disguise or not. If the disguised player has 2x gun for example, he can steal a gun 2x.
- The player who was robbed will get a notification on the item that he lost. But he won't know who the thief was (not if it's KID or Akemi or what player stole from him).
- Items that can be stolen from a role:

* Observe
- Role with that action: Jodie, Camel
- May choose a player to observe during the night. When the night is over the player will learn if that player is a child, female teenager, male teenager, female adult or male adult. If the target is disguised then the player will learn it for the disguise, not the true identity.

* Snipe Guard
- Role with action: Akai
- The player can use the ability on one target. This target will be protected completely in case he/she is about to be sniped. The sniper will fail his killing and will get injured as a result.
- If the target was killed in another way than sniping, then the target will die and Akai won't injure anyone.
- If Akai targets a sniper that is about to snipe someone, nothing will happen to the sniper and the victim will die.
- If the sniper was injured, there will be a message that someone was injured. The sniper can't use snipe anymore, but can still kill normally.

Betrayal
- Role with that action: Kir
- Betrayal win unfold one of the actions that the BO used that night. The possible results are: Slander, Detect, Abduct, Spy, Trick, Frighten, Steal, Observe, Blame.
- Kir will receive information that the actions was used, not on whom and not by whom. Example: The BO used Trick tonight.
- If none of the above actions were utilized by the BO, Betrayal will be shown as Failed.
- In the case of Vermouth using an action through a disguise, if the action is included in the above list, it can appear in Betrayal. For example, if Vermouth is disguised as Eisuke, Trick may appear in Betrayal.
- In the case one of the above actions was used twice by the BO, for example Vermouth/Eisuke and Vodka using Trick, Betrayal won't show that Trick was used twice, just that it was used.


Day Action
Roles with Day actions: BO(APTX), Agasa, Sherry, Akai, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta, Kogoro(Sober), Eri, Anokata/BO leader, Kazuha

*APTX4869
- The whole BO get capsules with APTX4869 each game. The number of capsules is equal to 1/3 of the (starting) number of townpeople.
- During each day any BO member may attempt to poison another player by sending an PM with that players name and identity to the GM. If the identity (e.g. "Shinichi") was correct that player is killed at the end of the day (after lynching). If the identity was wrong nothing happens (neither the town nor the target will not learn about the poisoning attempt). If the BO tries APTX on KID disguised as Shinichi, the BO must guess that player is KID and not Shinichi.
- In both cases the number of APTX of the BO decreases. (whether it's successful or failed)
- Different BO members can try to poison different targets (or the same target) the same day. Each BO can only start one poison attempt each day. If there are more poisoning attempts than remaining APTX the higher-ranked BO members poisoning attempts takes priority.
- Example:
Gin can poison pofa as Shinichi. But Gin can't poison Pofa as Shinichi and Ctu as Ran.
Gin can poison pofa as Shinichi and Vermouth can poison pofa as Ran.
- The vote of the successfully poisoned target still counts (and doesn't get erased). His action also counts, thus the arresting won't be prevented.
- APTX can't hinder an arrest. Even if the police dies successfully because of ATPX, the arrest still happens.
- Arresting a BO member will hinder the poisoning. Nothing else can hinder the use of APTX. But in this case, the APTX wasn't used at all and won't be wasted.
- If the BO member who used APTX was lynched, the APTX is still effective and the target will still die.

* Bow-tie and Watch
- Role with that action: Agasa
- Bow-tie: As the inventor of the bow-tie, he can lend it to anyone for a night except for himself (the individual has to return it). Someone in possession of the bow-tie can act if he were Conan and can Interrogate.
- Watch: He can also lend the watch to anyone for one night except for himself (it has to be returned). Someone in possession of the Watch is protected from the BO as if he were protected by Ran or Makoto, but he needs to fire from the distance so he does not get to see the attacker's face and will therefore not learn his identity.
- Neither the recipient of Watch or bow-tie nor Agasa learn each others identity (so Ctu as Agasa will give the Watch to "conia", and conia alias Ran will receive it from "Agasa".
- He may lend both to the same person. While he has to decide whom he'll give it to during the day, he might include (ordered) alternatives in case the one he chose gets lynched.
- If Ran or Makoto get's the watch, they protect themselves and the protected target with the watch. So they don't get a penalty after that.
- If the recipient of the Bow-tie has a normal interrogate due to his/her role, he can't use both that interrogate and the normal one.
- Example:
If Araide get's the Bow-tie, he can Heal and use Interrogate.
If Ran or Makoto get the Watch, and protect a target successfully, then they will protect themselves and the protected target with the watch. So they won't get the penalty and fly out of Japan or be injured.
- Watch protection > Sniper Guard > Protect > Heal > First Aid: see under rules

* Vengeance
- Role with that action: Akai
- If Akai get's lynched, he'll kill the person he voted for too.
- If frightened, he can't vote and can't use this action.

* Follow
- Role with that action: Sherry
- She may accompany anyone during the day and the accompanied will learn that Ai accompanied them.
- As a result she will get either: "Has a scent" or "Has no scent"
- Roles with scent:
BO side - everyone from the BO besides Anokata and Akemi, can't be tricked by disguise
Town side - Akai and Okiya

* Identify
- Role with that action: DB's: Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta
- Decide together to identify one persons role (Akonyl is Sonoko, Callid is Eisuke, mangaluva is Bourbon)
- Can just use it on one player, not number of DB's alive in the game. So even if there are all 3 DB's in the game, they can just identify one player.
- If the person is disguised, they can't identify the disguise but have to identify if it's KID or Vermouth.

* Analyze
- Roles with that: Kogoro
- After the player get's Sober, he can analyze his Interrogations during the day (even the one before he got sober). So he can Interrogate during the night and analyze his results during the day. He get's the correct answer with the analysis, whether the result was wrong because of being Drunk or because it was slandered.
- Example: Kogoro got sober on day 3:
Needs to PM: "I want to analyze my interrogation from night 1"

* Voice of Reason
- Roles with that action: Eri
- Can stop the lynching once per game. Doing so will not expose her role (different to what it was before APTX was introduced). The lynching must be stopped before the results are known, and if successful none will be killed by lynching during that day. And neither it will be shown who voted for whom.

* Protection Charm
- Role with that action: Kazuha
- Can give one person the Protection Charm. The person with that charm will have reduced his/her lynching votes by 1 and thus could be saved from being lynched.
- There will be a notice/text from the GM that the charm was in effect in case someone was saved by it. If it doesn't save the lynched one, then there will be no notice/text that the charm is in the game (even if it was given out to someone). All votes will still be shown normally.
- Can't give it to herself.
- Works like Agasas gadgets: Kazuha won't know the identity of the one who received the Charm. The one who got the Charm will just know that Kazuha gave it to him/her, not the identity of the player.

Night and Day:
Roles with Night and Day actions: Megure, Satou, Takagi, Shiratori, Chiba, Yumi, Hakuba, Makoto, Ran

* Arrest
- Role with that action: Megure, Satou, Takagi, Shiratori, Chiba, Yumi
- Can arrest any player at night or day.
- Needs to accuse a player for a crime: "Arresting Akonyl for killing conia" or "Arresting conia for slandering pofa"
- The crime can be done on any night or day. It doesn't have to be in the same phase that the arresting is happening
- Can't arrest someone for helping with a crime: "Akonyl helped conia in killing pofa"
- Crimes are: Killing (normal, sniping or using APTX), disguising, slandering, tricking or intimidating, abducting, erasing, frightening, steal. You can't arrest someone for being in the BO. So you can't arrest Conia for being Gin.
- Arresting can't be hindered in any way. Not by tricking or killing the police officer. (Arresting > APTX > Tricking/Intimidating > Killing > All other actions)
- The police officer can't arrest for the next 2 phases if he accuses someone falsely, because he'll get suspended.
- There will be info on the arresting:
1) If successful, then there will be info that a police officer (don't know who) arrested player xyz successfully (identity won't get revealed)
2) If there is a false arrest attempt, then there will be info that a police officer (don't know who) was suspended for the next 2 phases. There won't be any info who was supposed to be arrested either.
- An arrested person may still talk freely and it's identity remains secret, but is otherwise considered dead (and can therefore not get killed, vote or use any actions).


* Traveling
- Role with that action: Hakuba, Makoto
- also a prep phase action:
- They can choose if they want to travel during the preparation phase by sending a PM to the GM.
- If they do they will be on the plane during night 1, so they can't use their action during that night. They will arrive during day 1 and can participate in voting or use their day-ability (Makoto).
- Player does not reside in Japan from the start of the game
- Can decide to travel to Japan starting from Night 1.
- As long as he does not decide to travel to Japan (which will need either the following day or night), he is handled as if he were arrested. (can't be killed in any way, can't use actions besides Travel and can't vote)
- He may also leave Japan at any time, to the same conditions as above.
- While traveling, he can't use his abilities/vote or be killed/lynched.
- He can't use his abilities and decide to travel in the same phase. Can just do one action.
- While traveling, that player can't be killed or lynched.
Hakuba decides to travel on night 1. Then he's in the plane on day 1 (can't vote and can't be killed either (by lynching in this case)) Will arrive at night 2.
- Travelers can only stay out of Japan for 3 phases. (This doesn't include phases when you're travelling) If they do, the GM will announce they stayed away of Japan too long and they are now OUT of the game.

* Protect
- Role with that action: Makoto, Ran
- May choose to protect any number of people at day. If one of the protected people is going to get lynched, he will jump in and stop the lynching.
- May also choose one individual to protect at night. If said individual is about to be killed by the BO, he again protects the individual. The protected also learns if he was protected . The protected individual and the protector then learns the identity of the attacker (!)
- Penaltys:
Makoto: If Makoto successfully protects someone, he'll automatically fly out of Japan the next phase (phase 1), stay one phase (phase 2) for a Karate championship, can decide to fly back and travel during Phase 3 and arrive at Japan again on Phase 4  
Ran: If Ran successfully protects someone, she'll get injured and can't protect anybody anymore. But she can still talk freely and vote.
An injured Ran can't be healed and lose her injured status this way.
- If tricked while protecting, the protection will fail and it's like they never protected the person. So they don't fly away or get injured. They also don't learn the attackers identity.
- Doesn't learn the identity of a Sniper if the target was sniped.
- Can't protect anyone from APTX[/spoiler]

Subscription Phase

What a lucky girl she was, all her wishes had come true and tonight she would be crowned Emperess after the wedding, all dressed in white and walking down the aisle everyone watched the bride walk to her destiny. It was a dream come true after a pretty miserable life, at one point Rumplestilskin had visited her and told her her life and dreams were a mess and she wasn't worth saving, but she still managed to shock everyone and get through the bad times, and tonight she would be crowned, what else could go wrong.

The emperor waited at the aisle for her and as he watched her getting closer to meet him, she disappeared into thin air.

"That's scientifically impossible!" The angry groom looked at the small voice that said it. A girl clung to the boy.

"There is a problem." He announced in a kind but semi harsh voice "My subjects, you are to find my princess, under the penalty of death to you all if you do not find her in a timely manner."

Several people stepped up, Lynz glared at the king. "I'm not doing this for you at all."

"I'll give you anything you want." he said with a smirk. "I'll give you Sethon." his voice boomed.

Lynz muttered something and was ready to go. Next to step up was Yuri, "So you'll give us our greatest wishes if we help you?" She asked softly.

"I'll give you an art studio with everything your heart desires in my castle." Yuri grinned and joined Lynz, but she was pretty much bouncing due to Sethon.

Jecka jumped up, "Can I get a 3DS."

"Doesn't everyone in my kingdom have one?" He asked.

Hayley, the kangaroo, Jecka and Misaki looked at each other, Hayley smiled "but Kirby has one." She took Kirby's hand and left the room with her pink puff ball. The other two pouted and joined Lynz and Yuri.

Raiden and KaiRai were talking and just sprang from there seats. "Can we post giant kitten pictures all over your castle?"

A hesitation came, then "Of course, but you must bring kittens too." They both joined without a second thought.

Gio was thinking about something and our of the blue walked up to the group..."I'm in, I better get something awesome out of it."

The emperor was speechless as monsi agreed to Gio's claims. "If she gets something awesome I better too."

Miyano smirked, "Isn't that greedy?" she asked the two new comers.

"Nah, what could go wrong." Gio asked softly. Miyano agreed and joined them mostly for the reward.

Callid ran into the room, "A Phoenix is trying to burn the CCP."

"And why did you miss my wedding?"

"If I didn't the CCP would be burned..."

A facepalm as he continued, "The Phoenix escaped."

Kleene ran out the doors of the church to look for the Phoenix, she came back looking disappointed. "Fine, I'll go with you then..."

Jefufuh looked around from his seat, and only 2 others remained in their own, just talking and not exactly paying attention to the strange wedding. He walked to the group and joined them, "Will we still have wedding cake?"

"Yeah, we can eat the cake..." The emperor mumbled something under his breath, but no one made it out.

Meme and Pofa arose from their seats after their thrilling conversation..."Are you two joining?" He asked quickly.

"I'm God, but what more could I need, but yes, I'll join." Pofa smiled, and meme followed.

"Are we ready to g..." He was about to finish when the church doors burst open.

"Aww, I'm late..," Kaito Lady frowned and looked around. "I missed the wedding."

"There wasn't one...just join us." As the emperor said that, people swore they saw a smile on his face...

Prep Phase

"I'll explain a bit more since no one has the ability to change their mind now..." Everyone looked at each other, unsure what was going on as he started to explain, "You see, I paid several people in this crowd to abduct my bride, though I even don't know where she is, she is being dragged around the world of fairy tales, and you are to find her and bring her back to me unharmed." He grinned again, more evilly this time, "Another thing. You are to vote who you think these men or women may be leaving them behind in what can be a dream come true or a night mare..."

The group was shocked, "Why are you doing this to us?" Came a scared voice.

"Because I have to keep the kingdoms numbers down, and I'm evil..."

"I could have told you that." Lynz rolled her eyes.

"So have fun, good luck, and try not to die..."

3, 2 1 Prep Phase Begins!

Night 1


The group was all put to sleep mainly to prepare for what was yet to come, they started waking up one by one and trying to be alert, they looked around to find a strange forest, even stranger than the emperor's own forest outside his kingdom, it seemed still, of course it would as everyone heard the sound of crying in all different forms in the background, several little men, took their hats off and cried over a big glass coffin...No one could see inside until they crept closer, it wasn't Snow White, but sleeping beauty, or well a blonde girl that could be called by the princess of that name...Callid stood up and began to say the story. "I am a king! I can kiss her and awaken the princess and get the reward all for myself!"

He walked towards the coffin and leaned down, but he slipped, or well so it seemed. One of the little men grabbed his heel. "You aren't the prince." And punched him in the leg, making him fall over and howl in pain. In seconds the little men covered his body, his last vision a black apple straight between the eyes, "Stay away from her!" He heard as his eyes closed forever. Callid ( Eisuke ) was given a glass box of his own, so everyone who came could learn of what happens if you aren't a prince.

The group shivered a bit, they were all speechless, and unsure of what actually had just happened. They looked at the newly built glass coffin and the boy that occupied it. "What's this all about?" They tried to understand, but couldn't the same person asked "Was that the voting thing?"

"Of course not, oh did I forget to tell you someone will die nightly most likely?" More glances were exchanged, could they survive?


Day 1


The little hand ticked 3 PM for our victims heroes, as they navigated around in an eerie carriage. This carriage seemed to carry them all along to another large castle, like where the wedding took place.

"I better get that promised signed Sethon plushie at the end of this ride" Lynz whimpered.

"I hope they have an art studio!" Yuri announced. Jecka played the 3DS that was set up in the carriage, Misaki tried to steal hers, but it disappeared and she pouted. Inside this castle were hundreds of well dressed people stood gathered in the castle as they proclaimed the name and title of each to arrive.

"Makes me wonder if there's kittens along the way" pofa exclaimed as Kleene hid her bag with a crossed out $ and a picture of Raiden over it. Nabu jumped on Raiden's shoulder for the ride, and wrapped himself around his neck. "I think this kitten likes me." Kaito Lady played with another white kitten named "Patches" who had patches of brown and black fur on the white, and a half of a tail.
Jefufuh grinned as a small dog ran over to him and he picked it up.
Pofa exited the carriage in a large blue dress, that left her barely able to breath, on her feet were two glass slippers, and they blinded Kleene who covered her eyes.
The prince passed by Monsi and gave a look of confusion when he saw Raiden and Jefufuh. "I need to find the perfect princess tonight" He gasped, looking around. He noticed Misaki in a flowing pink dress and passed right by her without a second look, he over looked Lynz and signed her book, but the name was Seth or Stefon and she frowned and walked outside no longer interested.

"Too young, too old, too sporty, too chatty. He took meme's hand and they started to dance, his feet were squished in a matter of seconds and he left her side.

The prince then took Jecka's hand and asked her to dance, she smiled and he whisked her out on the dance floor. The dance went perfectly and he asked what her favorite video game was, she replied she had no 3DS which turned out to be the deal breaker.
Miyano looked for Jecka, but got stuck with one of the mean ladies. "Do you see yourself mopping afterparty? Well I do" and she threw a mop at her, completely confused of how she ended as janitor.

He then noticed pofa, and prof offered a hand out to the girl with a smile. "May I be honored to have a dance with you?" Whispered the prince. Pofa was speechless and just smiled. Onto the dance floor they went at 11:59 PM, they danced the whole night away.

Suddenly out of nowhere the group was shoved into the carriage, but another one picked up Pofa and she was rushed back to the family castle, standing next to a pumpkin and in rags that she wore earlier, her step mother arriving and dragging her to the basement... Gio tried to save her, but a dove that later transformed into a rat attacked her, making her having to back away.

They were all in the carriage aside from Pofa, they were quite upset with losing Pofa. But little did they know she'd receive a true happy ending.

pofa (Kir) ran away in her carriage, tin cans attached to it. "Just buttpunched" spelt across the rear of the bumper carriage. The group chattered anxiously, they had lost two of their own, and somewhere, they were being laughed at.

Night 2


The tired and confused group landed in a strange place, in someone's warm house, by a fire, three kittens lay curled up in a ball together, another grey kitten played in one of the many cat toys. "Nabu" the mother of the kittens called, "It's time for a bath." She said picking up the kitten and starting to clean it. She hid her small cub and thanked the group for finding her missing baby.
Nabu didn't seem very happy, however a man in black on a minibike sped and grabbed the four kittens and their mother! Raiden took off after them, brandishing her badge, saying Satou.
"I will catch any and every kitten thief!" Raiden exclaimed as he rushed out seeking justice. A few reacted with our local hero and followed him, specially Iwamoto and Jefufuh, but they were powerless against Raiden's 4 running legs' speed. Soon, he and the minibike thief were nowhere to be seen, only his badge was found.
The group was grabbed by another butler and escorted into a car, Jecka tried to go back and find Raiden, but she too was pulled back into the group as it sped away, leaving the robber and the detective.

Prep Phase - Prologue

Spend an entire day with Takagi in Tropical Land today, and believe it to be our best date to date - main reason for that likely being that no murders, kidnappings, or bombings happened in the middle of it.
Speaking of which, I ran into Agasa-hakase at a convenience store the other night, he said he was taking the kids and Conan-kun out on a camping trip today and three days forth.

As the day neared it's end, Takagi and I was sitting by the pier watching the sunset sink into the sea. It was then that he said what I had thought but a moment ago as I leaned my head on his shoulder, wishing for the night never to end. :-*

Unfortunately everything has an ending.

Tomorrow was yet another day, both Takagi and I had been invited to a wedding, on a Castle no less. Yumi had helped me select a dress to wear for that day. Well...if we had known now, what we would come to know, maybe we would have given a respectful no to the invitation.

Night 1 – Lovers, A Wedding and a Kidnapping, and a Cat-Thief too!

For a half day of work, it seemed more like a full day with how hectic it was around the Head Quarters today.
Megure-keibu and Nakamori-keibu had a meeting as I arrived, and shortly after set up a joined task force to take care of a mysterious case to say the least. Several citizens had called in about their kittens being stolen by looked like an Onigiri, leaving only a tiny patch of mold behind. But maybe there might be more behind that case than the eye sees at first? I mean... *Stray thought crossing her mind: oO(It couldn't possible be that Megure and Nakamori got a weak spot for kittens? :o*

As much as I look forward to attend the wedding with Takagi, I can't shake off the eerie feeling which I have had since I woke up this morning, and no matter how much I have tried to shake it off during the day it has not  gone away. I feel as though something really bad will take place tonight...

Takagi and I made it just in time for the wedding; what a grand view this Castle is. Although I do not like the atmosphere, it reeks of evil...
I set Takagi off by the front door and drove off to park the car at the designated spot I was appointed to by a servant. It was then, as I made my way inside, as I was approached by that tomboyish girl detective, Sera-san, pulled me aside for a chat. She seemed certain something would happen at the wedding, and wanted my help in investigating the Castle discretely. Of course I agreed, now certain my feeling earlier was true.
Anyway, we split off and went inside separately. I went to sit at the seat next to Takagi but did not tell him of the meeting or the feeling yet, didn't want to spoil his good mood by some eerie prediction I had. :-*

As the bride made her appearance and walked down the aisle the entire room, all at once, became quiet. She was so pretty and seemed so happy, and why wouldn't see? I remember Takagi took my hand and squished it slightly, I think I know what he thought then. Although I don't think I am ready for that kind of step just yet...
As the bride took her last steps toward her groom, she suddenly, without warning, disappeared into thin air-as if it was a magic show performed by KID. A strangely familiar voice rang out through the room then, “That's scientifically impossible!â€

Just flew over it, gonna read it more thoroughly later.
But noticed: Conan has Interrogator instead of interrogate as an ability :x
And interrogate isn't listened in the ability section? Or did I just miss it? :V

And can Okiya use Detect and First Aid in the same night, so 2 abilities in 1 night?
Because then he would be the only town (maybe even the only role altogether if I'm not mistaken) that can use 2 active actions in a phase :V Maybe making it Detect or First Aid. Just a suggestion.

I noticed something else. Why doesn't James have a night/day action?

It's quite common with BO-Town lovers actually and I'm sure there are possible situations where, say Anokata orders one BO to kill another for some reason or other. The main usage is still with the lovers though. They'd be pretty stuck if they couldn't kill them themselves, though I admit it would be interesting :-X.

Hmm... I wouldn't say things are too bad for Town. In many rounds of FM there are situations where the only need for investigate is to confirm something you're already mostly certain on. BO may need depowering *slightly*, but I wouldn't say this is too bad. After all, if the BO *have* to interact because of the nature of this round they'll have many more chances to give themselves away anyway. Also, with Town having less actions it's safer for them in terms of APTXing too.

Had an idea. Maybe give James his own version of Analyze as a day phase ability; so that he is able to analyze the information given to him through his FBI leader status? :)

If she's not in, once someone is being interrogated as "BO" will be lynched almost for sure. With Kir, people can still defend themselves a bit. This applies to town and BO actually (because of slander)

About the interrogate, I think that the main threat is the disguisers and Anokata for this. With no investigate it's extremely hard to prove anything about them... though, that may in fact be balanced out by the fact that anyone interrogated as BO will most likely be lynched unless they can locate another BO to lynch on time. Still, if Vermouth/Irish/Anokata decide to infiltrate and play it well, Town won't stand a chance.

EDIT: Forgot about slander. The BO only has one slander, but with no SO, its power will be much more than usual too. (A nd yes, I think SO is a useful action :P)
