In the chatbox, some of us were discussing doing a Nuzlocke run in Pokemon together. Post here if you want in, which game you think we should do, and if you have any suggestions for the rules, which, in their most basic form are:

1. Catch only the first Pokemon you met in each route. If you kill it, catch nothing. But no duplicates! If you run into something from a family that you've already got- say, running into a Pidgey when you already have a Pidgeotto- then you can ignore it and catch the first NEW Pokemon to appear.
2. Nickname all Pokemon. This rule serves only to make Rule 3 hurt more.
3. If a Pokemon faints in battle, it is dead. Box or release it, but never use it again.

Of course it is! I've done it in FireRed.

Also, general agreement seems to be that FR/LG is a good plan. Post if you're in. Does anybody have any amendments that they want to make to the rules?

I'd like to make a suggestion, and I know it is a little anti-nuzlocke, but it may work: What if we can't catch a pokemon that has already being catched by a partner?

It'll severely limit us in the early areas, since quite a few people are doing this.
