As the game has 21 people now, and 22 and 23 don't have nice factors of 3/4, signups are "closed" for now. You can still sign up, but you might not get in unless we get up to 24 members before the game starts D:

The game will start today, Wednesday at 8PM EST, if nothing unexpected happens. :V

The three healers (Okiya used to have First Aid :V) have decided that saving people is for sissies, and thus they've decided to start stabbing people in da faec instead.

This is largely experimental but I think it's fun times to suggest things that aren't mafia.

It was mentioned in the Mafia Suggestions thread: What if you had multiple criminals in one game?

So I decided to go a step further: What if you have nothing but criminals? ...and healers? :V


The game goes like this:
- Every phase lasts 24 hours. There is only one type of phase, no Night vs Day. Just perpetual Night. For more stabbing.
- There are three teams in the game: The Assassin Araides, Killer Kobayashis and the Outlaw Okiyas. Maybe a Sadist Shinichi team could be added if need be (but that'd break the awesome acronym) / if a certain # of people join.
--- Teams are chosen randomly, and contain the same number of people in each.
--- Every player is told who their team consists of.
- Every player on every team has two abilities: Kill and Heal. Also known as: Stab and Unstab.
--- Every phase, every player can PM the GM (that's me :V) one person to stab, and one person to unstab heal. You can heal yourself, you can't stab yourself. Unless you're into that. But not in here, anyway.
- At the end of the phase, any player who has been stabbed more than they were healed that phase dies a horrible death.
--- When someone dies, their team affiliation will be shown as well.
- Also at the end of each phase, the GM will say how many times each person was attacked.
- The team alive at the end (or teams, in case of a stalemate) win the game!

So to summarize:
1) Decide to protect everyone a little or one person a lot
2) Try to make alliances with the other teams against another team
3)
4) Profit.

Given the nature of the game, it needs a nicely divisible number of signups, so in the case that it's not divisible by 3/4/5 I might randomly murder a person or two from the signup list to make it fit.

Also given the nature of the game, it's bound to be super short with half the playerbase dying in the first round so don't worry if you die super early on. Also, given that probably not that many people will sign up and the fact that not much actually requires planning, PM volume in teams shouldn't be a big deal.

So, anyone want to sign up? If I get enough people in here I might start this up on Friday or something.

you can alternately do minimafia timing, but 24h phases will keep less people out of the game, as even mafia (as popular as it is) gets maybe 8 people a round in the mini rounds, and smaller numbers for a game with this much killing would be bad imo, along with them bein harder to divide.
