Ankor's answer is right. Lucy's age is "-9 months". And yes, I know that in real life things ain't that exactly timed, but that's just a riddle.

sstimson wrote:does this riddle mean that in 7 years her mom will be 5 times lucy's start age or lucy's age in 7 years

In seven years.
In other words it's (m - mother, l - Lucy): "m+7 = 5*(l+7)" NOT "m+7 = 5l"

No, sorry but I saw right through your intentions, and I know what exactly says in that spoiler box without opening it.

You read my intentions, which were the contents of the spoiler.  ;)

O.K.

I know that this riddle may sound stupid, but let it be so:
Bear with exactly 500kg weight fell from exactly 5 meter height. During this event his potential energy decreased by 24575 J.

What color is bear's fur?
Please provide explanation.

I didn't read the content of the spoiler but I have an idea of what it says. So your prediction was wrong.

BTW eworm, I just started reading the Liar Game manga and it's really good, I can't believe I hadn't heard about it before.

Please provide explanation.
Energy = Work = Force * Distance = Mass * Acceleration * Distance = Mass * Acceleration due to Gravity * Distance

24575 J = 500 kg * g * 5 m
g = 24575 J / (500 kg * 5 m)
g = 9.83 m/s[sup]2[/sup]

Acceleration due to gravity is 9.83 m/s[sup]2[/sup] at the North and South poles.  Thus, the bear is a polar bear and is kind of a dirty white or light gray.

Acceleration due to gravity is also 9.83 m/s2 at the Muppets' secret lair hidden miles beneath the Earth.  Thus, the bear could be kind of orange, and tells bad jokes.
Akonyl's explanation:
It's white, because any riddle that asks about what color a bear's fur is out of the blue will always be referring to polar bears. :P

(though technically, I believe polar bear fur is actually mostly transparent)
Easy Palindrome Time

In search of inspiration, a priest sat beside a lake and meditated on his surroundings.  Finally, he decided to start his next sermon with the following question:

'_ _  _ _ _ _ _  _ _ _  _ _ _?'

Yes, it's awesome. Unfortunately it's been on hiatus for quite some time now... Although supposedly it's going to resume this year.

Too easy, but I don't have a riddle right now, so I'll give you guys a hint:

Yeah that's the right answer, now it's your turn to post a riddle.

Ok then..

This one.. well is a bit different ;)
1.It is simply a team-play.
2.This one represents the unlucky number.
3.The third is actually the first.
4.Equalls 'Talk.Origins'.
5.Similar to No.4, but the key is an Ericsson.

*The answer is a single word formed from 1,2,3,4,5
(example 1=co , 2=na , 3=n , the answer would be conan )

EDIT: Since is more like a code than a riddle, I should post something else (If you want to.. also explain this one)
Or you could post one, I'm indifferent

No, codes are ok too, but you could give us a hint for one of the numbers.
