as for vermouth, that is also very true. However, depending on how many people make the alliance you may be able to sniff out that odd dissenting voice and lynch them later. But either way, that doesn't seem like a problem since nobody else has mentioned forming the alliance and I've yet to get any PMs about it, so I don't think it's gonna happen.
as for lovers, pretending to investigate the same things as your lover wouldn't work because each person has to investigate people investigating themselves, and the other investigators would get false reports back when they investigate " investigates me".
Don't know, last game xpon was acting quite suspicious as well but he ended up being the role he claimed. Of course his little play confused us more than it helped...
The main problem is that forming the alliance requires a start. A start without any non-investigators, because to be blunt... at the moment the most likely role that comes to my mind when I heard that you wanted all investigators to contact you, is Irish.
honestly, last game xpon wasn't all that suspicious imo (I might be biased because I knew he was a townie), I just found reasons that I could call him suspicious for. As for me being Irish, I'm not sure why you think that, because my plan doesn't require people to say if they're FBI/police/detective/shinichi/satou/etc, just that they can investigate. There was a self-proclaimed investigator that PMed me (and probably PMed you all also), so if you want to make a pact with them instead of me, feel free.
also, the reason xpon seems suspicious isn't just because he wants to make an alliance, it's because he's specifically looking for a detective to prove his innocence in order to form an alliance. To me, xpon's posts scream "I am anokata or I have Gin slandering me, I want a detective to check me out because I know I'll pop up innocent". His way of speech also makes me think he's lying, however I won't go into detail on that.

Oh right @lovers. Well, I thought the investigation thingy wouldn't be like a circle in investigation other people etc. But if you decide who will investigate who and you're a BO, then you could make it look like the BO can investigate (pairing BOs to "investigate" each other) D: Although that's kinda risky.
the idea is that every person investigates every other person inside the pact, thus you don't need to rely on anybody's word other than your own. So, there would be no way to make it look like anything. Of course, this pact can't be more than 4 people (or yumi, who can only do 2), but that would probably not be a problem. Also, because there's only 5 hours left until the next phase, I don't think this is all gonna happen anyway.
